Made online booking and told to wait for confirmation. The day before the flight I rang to check - was told the employee dealing with it ‘went away for a few days and forgot about it’…. Made alternate booking a week later & pup was picked up from breeder at 6am for 9am flight. Pup taken back to breeder at 4pm (10hours later) starving, dehydrated & stressed. Phone message left saying flight had been cancelled - no explanation why pup was left in cage at airport for 10 hours….. alternate flight then booked. Pup flew from Sydney to Adelaide and was left on the tarmac and not loaded…. No explanation other than a phone message saying he will be taken somewhere and be delivered two days later. I contacted the airline who said they would take the dog on a flight that afternoon…. Dogtainers told me it getting close to knock-off so they were interested in getting him on the flight. Puppy was lodged with an unknown person for two days and I’m not allowed to know where or who it is with…. Unethical and unprofessional behaviour. DO NOT USE .

Appauling... extremely incompetent!
We used the services of Dogtainers for a same day service. We booked our 9 week old puppy for a Friday arrival at 3 pm in Hobart, missed due to forgetting vet travel certificate. Then they missed 7 pm arrival. We travelled over 3 hours from Devonport to collect at Hobart airport. Had to arrange a nights accommodation. Third booking confirmed for 9.00 am arrival. Arrived at airport... puppy hadn't been sent. It was inadvertently booked for 9.00 an on the Monday.

I don't even know how they can call themselves a business. I booked my pets to fly from Adelaide to Melbourne. Dogtainers had 3 months to book flights I had to continually call them asking what was happening. Each time I called I was on hold for 20 minutes. No one ever returned emails. It got to within a week of my pets needing to fly no one had called me asking for payments etc. So I called nothing was organised and I had to source my own kennels. Absolutely pathetic company And i will never ever deal with the again. Never return emails and don't organise anything. Good riddance dogtainers you are a pathetic waste of space.

They Cancelled my dog's flight twice then charged me 10% to refund me.

I booked my dog to come down from Brisbane to Melbourne and the flight got cancelled twice over a 2 month period. Got offered to book again in a couple of months time and when I said no sorry not waiting other 2 months please refund me. Then they charged me 10% of the original fee that was paid.

When i was on a holiday at tne islander noosa resort and took my dog bella to dog tainers let transport so she could fly to noosa with me as i did not want to drive they were very gentle with her and i had to give her a anxiety tablet as she was so so stressed but all ok

Amy, and the two handlers who looked after me and my highly anxious cats were fantastic from start to finish. Amy went through all of the options with me, working in what I needed and being super helpful.
I was stressed on the day of pick up, but the wonderful handler was great - talking to my cats in a calm and soothing manner, and seeing the two really friendly dogs happily sitting with him in the front of the van made my day! (Especially because I got to pat them!).

Dogtainers have been very helpful over the years, I have moved interstate and overseas with Dogtainers and I have found them to be very focused on pet welfare and making the moves as stress free as possible for me and my 2 cats. I just recently moved from Brisbane to Perth as my health is not so good these days I need the boys collected and then I collected them from the airport myself this end. All went well and it was much cheaper than booking with the airline. Thank you dogtainer. Debs

Called Dogtainers this week after getting the run a round from Dogtainers competitor the service was like chalk and cheese one company just wanted to get me off the phone and did not answer my question Dogtainers on the other hand answered all my questions and Maddie was so friendly and nice I later that day booked with them to move my dogs from Hobart to Brisbane. Everything went very smoothly.

I used Dogtainers to move my two cats and my Great Dane from Brisbane to Houston, Texas. The team at Dogtainers are by far the best Pet Transport company I have used and i have used 3 or 4 of the top companies and Dogtainers excelled at every point of the travel. I received photos of Ben, piper and Jesse at every step on route, emails where prompt and very professional.

The move took place last week and and I am still very impressed by the followup communications and just the professionalism of the team. Thanks to all the guys at Dogtainers and thanks for making the move so easy.
