Definitely a great centre for swimming lessons for kids. Don Tatnell has a wonderful staff, very friendly and keen to give advice when asked. I'm happy with the quality of the classes and I like it that the gym doesn't get awfully crowded.

a good sized pool with pleanty of lanes, and a small gym area. lots of kids classes can make it very noisy during after school hours. but during the day it is fantastic to go for a nice swim. really frendly staff too

Such a great gym. The staff here are so helpful and lovely it is like a little community. They have good hours and it is never crazy busy. I always recommend this gym to people. The classes here are great too!

I really like the lessons at this pool. It's good value for money and the teachers are great and very good with kids. My only criticism would be that the changing rooms are really cold!!

I was introduced to this swim centre by the owner/opertor/coach of a swim centre in another suburb. Their recommendation was that if they were to select a swim school in the Parkdale/Mentone area for their child, they would choose Don Tatnell. I was comfortable with this professional yet personal recommendation and booked lessons,; the result being that both my daughter and I were equally happy with the quality of the classes, teachers and centre. A very friendly atmosphere where children are welcomed to stay and practice their swimming before or after class, unlike other centres which churn out the students for a quick turn-around and cash flow. I'd recommend the centre to anyone.

I've been going there for about 8 months. I usually use the gym - cardio and weights. They have some descent bikes and treadmills and quite a few machine weights aswell as free weights. Most people are friendly although some just aren't sociable. All staff are keen for a chat and advice if required.

I would definitely recommend people to go to Don Tatnell, especially if like me you prefer a smaller, place to go swimming etc. At the moment they have a voucher to try services, is a great idea. Staff member was lovely and as I was only interested in aqua aerobics at the moment, was happy to give me 2 complimentary passes to try classes. Such a nice family centre. Swim school and gym is fantastic. Staff are always helpful. The classes are great and the instructors are always friendly, funny and ready to help you get results. I find the staff very motivating. I'm a people person and find it important to have good customer service.

I have been going to this gym for 6 months now. The membership for all classes/pool/gym is only $62 per month. The gym has all the latest equipment. All the bikes/treadmills etc have individual TV screens! It is clean. The staff are very friendly. I have never liked gyms but this one has me hooked. Everytime I have gone there will only be 5 - 10 people at a time. Machines are always available.
