Double Dragon Chinese Restaurant

Good portions reasonable price.
This place is a great place when your feeling like takeaway, keeps my whole family happy.

It had been a while since trying this restaurant for some takeaway, previously it wasn't so great. I just wanted some dim sims, singapore noodles and Hokkien beef noodles. Priced at only $25 for the lot I thought it was great value. The servings were extremely generous, almost bursting out of their containers, they just lack flavour, they were a bit bland, we added some hot chilli sauce which worked well.

We ordered to meals for takeaway, honey chicken and sweet & sour pork, absolutely delicious and very generous aswell. We only had to wait 15 minutes and we were on our way. The sizzling garlic prawns are my usual, but just wanted a change this time round. Staff were friendly and quick with our order.

Was out with my mate for some take away, he wanted pizza and I felt like some curry, perfect location as the pizza place is next door. I ordered the beef curry for around $10, generous serving, couldn't finish it in one go. I am not normally one for a lot of vegies in my curry but it seemed to be the perfect combination and I really enjoyed it. Will definitely be ordering it again, have previously tried their satay skewers and they are fabulous. Staff are always friendly and quick with my order whether I am eating in or taking away.

Was celebrating a friends birthday here recently and was pleasantly surprised by how great it was. Their satay chicken and beef entree was fabulous, the sauce superb! I must also mention the prawn toast which was also very tasty. For mains we decided on a banquet which was just perfect. Our meals arrived in a timely manner and all tasted fresh and authentic. I would have to say the garlic prawns and salt & pepper pork were my favourites.

Very extensive menu, great food and excellent service, will return.

Their fried rice is actually very good value. The serving size is good and it is actually really tasty.
I have started a good rapport with the Asian people running this shop, so looking forward to getting some authentic Chinese delicacies from them... ones that aren't on the menu.
We had also their Singapore Noodles, sweet and sour pork and salt and pepper pork. They were all good. Well recommended and everyone should go.

Have always enjoyed our meals here, consistantly delicious high quality dishes with excellent service. Their menu is extensive which certainly makes it difficult, so we usually share our meals or order one of their banquets with a few extra entrees. The mixed entree is a great choice, for mains I prefer the garlic prawns as the serving is usually fairly generous even if it's takeaway, which we quite often do. Never been disappointed and we return often.

We have eaten here (and had take away) quite a few times now. It has a very clean large area for dining - plenty of space for a party. It is very nicely decorated and the staff are friendly and often like to chat. The food is delicious especially their Garlic Prawns (a family favourite) as for entrees, you must try their Satay Beef and Satay Chicken Skewers. It is something we order every time we are there. You don't have to wait long for your order - either eating in or taking out. We have never had any issues with them, always happy to return.

I have eaten here many times. Good quality Chinese food with good service. I like quite a few dishes from here. The special fried rice, garlic king prawns and lemon chicken are great. Spring rolls are yum (but quite small). Meals are quite expensive also.

We love eating here - the food is generally of a high standard and the restaurant itself is always very clean and presentable (can't stand a dirty restaurant!) Staff are friendly and menu is varied.

One of the best things is that they are always lovely to the kids - with 3 youngsters, this isn't always the case when we dine out. So not only do we love going there, so do the kids - win/win!

Other reviewers have mentioned the high prices, but I disagree - on par with other similar places in our experience.

We went there for a feed as there is really not much in the area in terms of Dine out option. The food came out on tume but they mixed up our orders. It was sent back and finally came out correct. The food was nice but I personally thought a bit pricy.

Food is excellent but a bit over priced. The service is OK, they don't really take much time out for anything other than hand over the food and take the money, but for takeway that's all you really need. It's a treat to come here for our family due to the price.

This is my husbands favorite, the food is always lovely, made fresh to order and they will take out any thing not wanted. The serves are a good size and the special excellent value

Great range and menu and food was very fresh. Excellent homely feel to the place but its not to cramped. all in all excellent customer service and food and i would recommend it to friends

I prefer take away from Double Dragon, as the restaurant is a bit noisy. Food is prepared on time, and at reasonable prices. Their lemon chicken is delicious!

This is quite a good Chinese restaurant with the choice of take away and sit in dinning. They have a good range of food that are very reasonable in price. As i have young kids the large fish tank proves to be a great source of entertainment while waiting for the food to arrive. I often ring ahead to order my food and it is ready within 20 minutes most nights ready and waiting. Quite tasty the staff are friendly and even had plastic plates for little kids!

One of the best take away or dine in Chinese restaurants in Adelaide. Service is excellent and the food is delicious. An excellent proportion of food is given with each dish

Yummy tasty food. Service quick. Dishes well presented and hot. We were asked several times if we needed anything and if we were happy. Cold water provided and the staff noticed if we needed more.
