Even though I've had an easy pregnancy and being a "boring pregnant woman" as Dr Rudy said :), I was quite nervous and always had concerns and questions since it was my first pregnancy. Both Dr Rudy and his midwife Bec have been a calming influence on me. They are very friendly, making jokes here and there, while being attentive and professional to all my questions and concerns.
And the same applies to front desk staff both at the Glen Waverley and Berwick practice.

Although he has moved to Glen Waverley, he still consults in Berwick and goes to St. John hospital Berwick. I feel relaxed and reaasued
during my pregnancy. He has such a supportive staff team

Fabulous. If you are looking for a kind, knowledgable, reassuring obstetrician or gynaecologist - Rudy should be your first choice.
I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received with both pregnancies and deliveries. He is a busy man buy you never feel rushed. I only missed seeing him for one antenatal appointment and it was my decision not to wait. I must have been lucky but he was only ever running about 15-20 minutes behind for all my appointments. The midwives there are great, as are all the staff.

Rudy is a fantastic doctor, I first meet him when he took over in the very final stages of one if my pregnancies when my doctor was unable to help with my delivery. Rudy saved my baby's life. Since then he has guided me through another pregnancy. A wonderful bedside manner and well worth the wait to see him!

over the past 6 years i have used Dr Lopez for 3 pregnancies, the doctor himself is the lovliest man ever, funny and he really does seem to care, the only problem is he is FLAT OUT! its terrible trying to see him, almost always wait over an hour past your appointment time and he is often not there when you arrive as he is..you guessed it delivering babies. with my first child it was easier but as he becomes more and more popular it is very difficult even to phone the clinic to ask a question. Currently pregnant again and am wondering if he has enough time for all of his patients including me.

As all good doctors are busy busy busy most appointment you will have to wait over your app time although Dr Rudy is the best GYN/OBS i have seen. I saw Dr Rudy Lopes with both of my babies and highly recommend to all ladies!

How do you describe your first childbirth experience - Dr Rudy Lopes was a fantastic / caring & very humerous Obstetrician who helped me through a 16hour labour with ease. We have also experienced a sad time having a miscarriage but he & his staff were very attentive to our needs, 24/7. I feel like they are apart of our family. We are now about to have our second baby & I look forward to doing it all again with him - HA HA!!!
