I've visited Dr. Castro, and I'm very pleasantly surprised! Vogue Smiles is a small but extremely personable dental practice! The staff was very accommodating and genuinely interested in what exactly I was looking for as far as treatment options. Their dental office makes sure that you are the only one being taken care of and not in a dental assembly process. I love the fish tank in the office! I have one at home, and this large tank in the office just makes it more inviting and relaxing!

Overall I thought Dr Castro's dentist practice was OK, but not "WOW". The suite is small, the equipment is rather dated, the fish are much too big for the aquarium (ie animal cruelty) and the equipment could be cleaner. The service was fine, and the staff are friendly and helpful - no problems there, but the standard could definitely be better.

Very comfortable atmosphere, Dr Castro made me feel welcome. Staff were very nice and helpful. Will be going back there in the future and will be highly recommending to friends and family.

Being someone who finds the idea of going to the dentist daunting at the best of times, Dr Castro and Sandy are a great find. Dr Castro and Sandy work together to make the surgery a friendly and relaxed place and both are very caring and supportive. Service is, as others have said, fast and efficient and you are always greeted with a smile. Highly ecommended.

I am so happy I chose to go to Dr. Castro after such a long time of not seeing a dentist. She is a really great cosmetic dentist and is a good woman with a great personality. She really takes pride in her work and in ensuring you have a beautiful smile. She is fastidious and make sure that the cosmetic result would be exceptional. And I'm very grateful I've choosen her to give me new smile with Porcelain Veneer. Took several appointments till she was happy with the result from her lab but at the end it is all worth it. My friends and I love my new smile. Costwise I would say it is not cheap cosmetic work in town, but the result is amazing and worth of every penny of an investment, something that I would treasure for years to come. As a single mother it has always been financially tight. My awful smile has always been at a back burner. I had forgotton what it felt like to look in the mirror and be pleased with the face smiling back at me. When I saw Dr Castro, she presented me with all my options of improving my smile. She was very understanding of my financial situation. She didn't pushed with me all those expensive treatment but tried to work out on my budget. Such a relaxed and inviting environment considering it is a dental office. Dr Castro and Sandy are always happy and smiling, and whenever I am there I forget that I am visiting the dentist and the appointment is over before I know it. As for the service, it is always fast and efficient and I truly look forward to my visits there. I never thought visiting the dentist could be so much fun! Dr. Castro is an excellent, gentle dentist. She has a happy, calm nature which is great for nervous patients. Her clinic is fun and it smells great with aromatherapy oils burning. She plays any music I want and sings along while she works. My experience has been truly wonderful - I have gone from a nervous patient who avoided the dentist to a confident, calm patient that actually looks forward to seeing my dentist and her wonderful team. I have been going to Dr Castro for around 12 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I always used to fear going to dentists but Dr Castro has always provided a calming and trusting environment so the dread of the dental visit has been taken away. My husband now goes to Dr Castro too.

Hi there,my name is Sing Wong and i have been with Dr.Castro for 10 years plus,she has been my best dentist.She showed me how to take care of my teeth and my need for dental care has decreased as a result,not so good for her practice I know.Now I brush 3 times a day and floss every night,best practice,hehe.

Dr Castro has been my dentist for more than 13 years and I have always been looked after extremely well. She is always friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and warm. And she knows how to minimise the trepidation of a visit to the dentist! She always takes great care to make sure procedures as painless. And thanks to her I have wonderful new front teeth that have given me so much self-confidence that I can smile again without feeling self concious. Dr Zenaidy has excellent attention to detail and I'm very happy with the fillings and crown that has been done. Dr Zenaidy and staff are all friendly and helpful, Sandy has been great in arranging special appointment times to suit my personal requirements.

Dr Zenaidy is a very attentive and friendly is a great dentist. Really helpful when i needed to claim my bills off my private health insurance. Can't stress enough how friendly and helpful she is. Sandy, her reception is so accommodating and chatty, makes me feel so welcomed... I even got a free gift for waiting too long, sweet!

Dr Zenaidy & Sandy, are both very good in what they do for the patients. Dr Zenaidy is vey good in what she does & explains what the job she is going to suggest will be perfect. My job was to have a bridging done to my front teeth & i am very happy with the results i would send my friends to see her anytime. One thing i enjoy is the music she plays just my style keep up the good work. Went to Dr Castro for dental check up and ended up having some white fillings work done. I had some white fillings done before by other dentists but they didn't look as nice as the works done by Dr Castro. Although I never done cosmetics work with her before, I could understand why there are a lot of good reviews about it. She did fantastic jobs with the fillings that they look very natural. Compared to the fillings Dr Castro did, my old white fillings done by other dentists look pathetic. Cost price is pretty expensive but about the same with other dentists in the CBD area. The dentistry is small but very welcoming. The staff are very friendly especially Gani, the dental assistant. They always greeted me with my first name and I feel like I'm a friend rather than a stranger. The dentistry always smell very nice and I love the aquarium a lot. It's beautiful to look at and the liquid rinse they provide to rinse after fillings actually smell and taste pleasant.

“I have seen many dentists in my life. Dr. Castro is by far “THE BEST DENTIST EVER”. It's nice to know that the dentist you are going to wants to be doing this and not in it for the money. She has been great with my family and she is always understanding when it comes to finances. We are pleased she spend time to explain things. She even educate us on how to read our own big xray so we could understand what exactly is happening on our own mouth. She makes you feel comfortable too. Sandy and her nurse Gani are both very very nice and accommodating. Very pleasant staff. If you are looking for a dentist it is worth driving any distance for — I do and everyone I have referred to her has only called to say “Thank You” a million times.”

Dr Castro and her team are fantastic. They are caring, interested and nothing is too much trouble for them. Dr Castro has given me great dental care for years now. She is very kind, patient and understanding. She is a first class dentist and I would not go anywhere else now that I have found her. She can help guide you to a successful outcome when it comes to more complicated procedures. She also is so awesome at teeth cleaning, I have never had a better result than when I have used Dr Castro. She is such a good dentist and friendly to boot. Could not wish for any better, she is great. Highly recommend you try this surgery out. The whole team is great and they give you great service and they are not expensive. The Best.

Last month I was in excruciating pain with one of my tooth. I tried to make a booking to see Dr Castro, but because they are fully booked and difficult to get a booking, they we'rent able see me urgently on that day. I went to see another dentist. This dentist I went to in the city, diagnosed that I have an unsaveable cracked tooth. They said they can't help me with extracting the tooth as it is a complicated case. They referred me to see an oral surgeon but I have to wait till early December. I was in so much pain. I tried to call Dr Castros office again, this time they were able to fit me in for emergency. They have to reschedule their other bookings just to see me. Dr Castro have given me an option of RCT or extraction. I can't afford RCT so I decided to have the tooth remove. She removed the tooth then and there and took her only about less that 5 minutes to take the tooth out. I thought its a specialist job but she removed the tooth easily and quickly. I was so much relieved of pain and grateful for the emergency attmpt of them seeing me. She is not only skillful dentist, but very kind and empathetic. Sandy, the practice manager called me the following day to see if I was OK. Very caring office. Now I found my dentist for life.

I don't think there is any question that this clinic is the best in the Melbourne area. Dr Castro is the most kindest dentist I have ever met. Very gentle and sensitive to my financial situation. The treatment she suggested were far less drastic, was almost thousands of dollars less expensive than previously presented to me before . I find her prices are so reasonable.. Although the office is small, typical of a city office, I really felt comfortable being that I was in a new place. Everyone was really friendly,and professional. The atmosphere was great.

For most people, myself included the thought of visiting the dentist procrastinates until we cant chew. The fear of the needle together with the possible drilling is enough to keep most of us away.

Until, however you are blessed enough to have experienced Dr Castro's clinic, in the the heart of the city. Her good-humoured and cheerful personality initiates a positive and calming effect on clients, like myself.
From her vast collection of smooth music, clients are able to choose songs that invoke a tranquil environment. Personally i felt like i was sitting on a banana lounge listening to Frank Sinatra or Rod Stuart somewhere in Nice (Europe).
Even the dreaded needle was unsuspecting until i was told, it had already administered and the process of numbing had began, i was still lost in Europe.
Dr Castro skill and gift needs to be also mentioned as i had been advised, by a previous dentist, from another clinic that there was nothing more that he could do for me in treatment.
Yet Dr Castro was was able not only confine my dental problem but she was also able to give me alternatives to fit my budget.
I, therefore highly recommend Dr Castro to all those who have had unfortunate experiences from previous dentist to pay Dr Castro a visit. Bring your sun classes and tanning oil if you can contemplate a trip to Europe whist you are being treated.
