As someone who has spent several decades either hating or avoiding the dentist's chair, I can honestly say that Dr Castro and her team work tirelessly and with much TLC, passion and compassion to provide the very best of everything a dental experience should be. From dental nurses who ask what music you'd like, supply you with head and neck supports and always go the extra mile to make you comfortable in the chair to Sandy, the administration manager who makes you feel like you're truly part of a family. I have found Dr Castro's service as technologically up to date as any other in Melbourne, her prices are certainly well within the reasonable range (others will charge you more and offer you less) but ultimately it's the sense that I am more than just another customer that keeps me coming back, it's the feeling of being important. I even know the names and life stories of most of Dr Castro's fish! Do yourself a very big favour, take an hour or so out of your day and have a consultation... You won't regret it!

Dr Zenaidy is simply the best! She goes about her work in a professional manner - no fuss and about as near to painless as you can get. Her charges are very reasonable. I have been a client for more than 12 years.

I searched "the best dentist" and found Dr.Castro after being SUPER disappointed with the last few general dentists I had visited.I firstly visited my previous dental clinic for a root canal treatment in Feb 2012.But the pain came back in September 2012 and four dentists from that dental clinic failed to diagnose my pain. I suffered from pain rating 8/10 for a week and had to take pain killers every3-4 hours, otherwise I could not sleep/eat/talk or do anything. After charging me up to $2,000, the previous dental clinic wanted to refer me to a "root canal treatment specialist"(cost $2,400-$2,600), saying "the tooth is extremely complicated and in bad condition, and a general dentist will not treat it.This is all your fault because you should not get pregnant during treatment." I asked them to send my records and x-rays to Dr. Castro but they refused to do saying a general dentist will never treat me well. As I am pregnant and preferably not taking x-rays, I spent 2.5 days calling/arguing/coming in person trying to get my x-rays from my previous clinic. Turn out they lost my x-rays ( or did not want to give them to me ). Dr. Castro worked extra hour for me and did a guess work without x-rays, she found out one missing badly infected tooth root which caused the pain. The pain disappeared straight away, and she charged reasonable price($700 for now and $700 more to finish up the root canal treatment in the future.)

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Castro to anyone. She is professional, easy-going and truly thinks for the customer. Compare to my previous dental clinic, which has gave me the worse medical experience ever, Dr. Castro is an angle rescuing me from hell.

I went to see Dr. Castro after scouring the web to find good dentist. First time meet her, I was impressed with the wealth of knowledge she has about dentistry and how she taking time to explain what available options based on your budget.

I want to get a perfect smile and I know it will cost a lot to get it done. Dr. Castro prepare a plan that suited my budget and spend lots of time in making it right for me. It is rare to get a dentist that expect the best result and keep working until she is satisfied with result.

Growing up I had a dentist who made me believe pain & suffering went hand in hand with dental appointments. I'm glad Ihave found their practice online. Dr. Zenaidy Castro is someone who loves her job and it shows in her work and how she treats her patient very well. She's funny, personable and actually cares for her patients. I never had any problem with any works she have done for me.
I recommend her to everyone seeking a new dentist, she is simply the best. Fantastic bed side manner, a great sense of humor and lets not forget her staff- they are all so friendly and personable. Even her 2 male dental assistant, Gani and Derek are so engaging, they made me laugh with their easygoing friendly attitude and them cracking a joke or too. What a fun office to go to. People seems happy in there and they seems like they love their job in that office. It shows on how they treat their patient. I am happy to note that I will no longer be dentist hunting!

Dr Castro, is not only easy on the eyes, but she is smart, funny and gentle. I always hate going to the dentist and the thought of injection is nerve racking. The last time I have my cholesterol blood test, I fainted even before the injection. Thats what I am always dreading making a dental appointment and keeping them. I did an intensive search online on who is the best dentist in melbourne. Found this site. Then my wife made a booking for me. The first consultaion went well as I know im not getting a treatment and injection. But its the second appointment where i need to come back for long due dental treatment. I haven't sleep well for several days in anticipation and worrying of my next appointment and injection. That next appointment is so memorable as when they called me to be seated on the chair, the doctor is so very attentive, caring and understanding, and oh yes entertaining and distracting too, telling all jokes and funny stuff that I forgot all my worries on the first place. Before I knew it im already having a drilling done on my tooth and DIDN'T FAINTED!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Castro's for the last few years … I came to her being disappointed with the last few general dentists I had visited. My previously veneered front teeth with glamsmiles are unsatisfactory, looks so fake and bulky. I was so unhappy and I could tell the quality of work was substandard. I was determined to find another dentist and I found Dr Castro. She doesn't push services on patients; she just diagnoses what's going on and tells you your options. I trusted her and have her removed and changed my existing venner with other kinds of porcelain venner.
Dr. Castro was highly recommended and immediately I could tell that I was in the hands of who knew what she was doing … She is so meticulous when she works; you can feel her focus on the task at hand…I have received tons of compliments with my new smile. I am very happy with the outstanding results. That was last few years ago now and been seing her since then. Good thing is I didn't
have any problem with my new veneer. They still look good and as new and holding it still very well.

Going to a dentist is never a pleasurably experience. However Dr. Zenaidy, Sandy & crew made it as relaxing as it gets. They were very reassuring, played music on request and made the whole experience pleasant!! It was much appreciated!

Though the office is small, it is comfortable and have a distractive feel of a homely atmosphere.Dr. Castro is a wonderful dentist and an exceptionally nice person. I first went to see Dr Castro in August 2010. I was immediately impressed when i phoned and spoke with the receptionist Sandy. She was so warm, kind and knowledgeable, and defiantly made me feel welcome. As i was new to Melbourne, i was extremely anxious as i had only ever been to my family dentist before. I was greeted with a warm smile upon arrival, and my nerves completely disappeared after a 2 minute conversation with Sandy. I was then introduced to Dr Castro, where her positive attitude can't help but make you smile. Dr Castro was not only professional, but had a great nature to her, which made you automatically feel comfortable. Working in retail, i am extremely critical of the service i receive at work places, but i can say, i have never received better service, and left somewhere feeling so good about myself. My impression about Dr. Castro is that she is very thorough - initially I came because of my gums that occasionally easy to bleed, and after her thorough examination she found that my old fillings started to deteriorate. She fixed all and my problems goes away - very happy patient!

Without hesitation, I would absolutely recommend their clinic. Every aspect of this experience was impressive. Sandy the practice manager, was very helpful and friendly. Dr Castro was very impressive and knowledgeable in her field. I saw the before and after pictures which were important in my decision. After my cosmetic treatment, I have never received so many compliments in my life, and no one could put their finger on what changed so dramatically. Of course, with so many positive reactions, my self confidence just doubled twofold. I agree,their clinic doesn't charge cheaply on those cosmetic works, but I have seen from others who have those cheap, half-price dentistry, mine is definitely different in the quality of overall results and looks.

Price isn't everything. They offer great prices, which enables me to go ahead with the desired procedure, that otherwise many would find hard to afford.They help me get financing. But what also characterizes the clinic is the friendliness of staff, the quality of care before, during and after the procedure.

My wife and I have been patients of Zenaidy - -- since we moved to Melbourne in 2000, and our children are now their patients too. We have been very satisfied with the level of service and the family homely atmosphere that is provided by the entire staff. What I like about Zenaidy is her dedication to her dental work and she really care to her patient. There were times in the past where I was a difficult patient to her, but she was patient and understanding with me. By the way thanks for the wonderful new smile because of my new veneer and I have recommended many of my family and friends to become patients of her.

I'm always scared of going to the dentist but Dr Zenaidy is the best I have been to. She makes me feel comfortable and I dont feel pain at all. I always go first time and do not have to come back for re touch coz everything she does is spot on. The clinic has the best view of Southbank and the Yarra river and the staff are terrific.

Absolutely petrified to visit dentists, Sandy is a lovely receptionist who greets you on arrival, Sophie the dental nurse is sweet and caring. Dr Zenaidy knows her stuff, she works quick and does an amazing job!! Im very happy with the results and am not so petrified anymore.

Other than the long wait for getting appointment and have to wait for seems like eternity waiting for my turn, all of the employees are friendly and cheerful every time I'm there. It is a pleasant environment. Furthermore, they are ALL a happy bunch. I didn't felt rushed when its my turn. Everyone are welcoming and friendly. Love the 80's and disco music they play.
