Went here a long time ago, really enjoyed the food. Service was a little slow and price for the portions could have been improved.

The staff are really friendly and often explain to me what is in each dish which is helpful with picky kids.

Our family of three went there for a yum cha. The ambience was good and service was good. However, the food was extremely salty. We were grabbing for water during the meal - we didn't realise that.Half an hour leaving the restaurant, we were emptying our water bottles in our car. It's very obvious there is a lot of MSG in the food. Cost wise, it's pretty expensive. Even with 25% discount, it still cost us $60 for 2 adults and one 8 yrs old boy. We agreed never to return there due to the high amount of MSG in the food.

Approximate cost: $30

Massive servings so well worth the money, great service & great atmosphere. We eat here regularly but last night was for a birthday and they really do treat the birthday boy special. Free desert and a birthday song. Loved it. Will be going back for sure!

Approximate cost: $25

YUM! Dragon Boat Yum Cha Express is amazing! This is the smaller restaurant located next to the main one. You can order yum cha items straight off the menu so they come out hot and fresh. Prawn dumplings are delishious and they serve the best curry laksa I've ever had! The prices are reasonable and if you are lucky enough to be served by the gentleman 'johnny' you will be in for a laugh.

Approximate cost: $11

Really handy chinese restaurants for those of us in the outer eastern suburbs and being part of Knox O-zone makes it handy before a movie or after shopping or just a family get together.
I've read through some of the reviews and I think the yum-cha hasn't been mentioned enough. Although it's not my favourite chinese restaurant in general, I do really enjoy their yum cha, especially those delicious little egg custard tarts.

Dined here on many occassions and never had a bad experience. Same owners and staff for many years who are both polite and efficient. The spicy squid is fantastic (most meals are). Can be a little noisy on Thurs/Fr/Sat nights. Can be expensive...

My family came here after seeing it in the entertainment book. It's a nice and rather large restaurant situated at the back of the outer food precinct of Knox shopping centre. My son was specifically fascinated by the large chandeliers.
They service staff push small carts of food around in which you take one or leave. You can order off a menu as well. The food itself was of a reasonable quality but nothing stand out.

We went here for dinner at about 7:30pm on a Saturday and just managed to score a table for two in the huge and packed restaurant. The turnaround for tables seemed to be fast as was the service.

Free wanton paper crackers on each table which is nice and a change from the old prawn cracker trick. Would have preferred prawn crackers though to be honest.

We ordered and shared a heap of entrees, and subsequently over-ordered which is easy to do when you see the price of the entrees.

White Bait was amazing and the best I have had anywhere. My partner had the duck for his main and loved it. This was 8 pancakes that the chef makes up for you next to your table, which I thought was a nice touch.

The main sprecial fried rice is huge and probably too much for just 2 people, so we know next time the servings are actually quite decent.

Highlight of the night by far was the Banana fritter I ordered. As far as a fried banana goes, this was perfect. There is something special that happens when you deep fry a banana and drizzle it with golden syrup and giant scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was the perfect end to the meal, which I definitely ate too much of...

Oh well, you only live once. :)
