I ordered a product which was shown as 'in-stock' and after I wasn't notified of the item being mailed I contacted dstore (about 10 days later). Was told that the system wasn't up-to-date when I purchased and the item hadn't been sent as they had run out! I was offered a refund (with a $10 credit) which I accepted rather than wait weeks for the order to be fulfilled. Customer service are slow to respond to emails and don't bother calling these guys - they don't call you back.

Silly me, I then ordered a similar product from them and waited... This time I received an email telling me the 2nd order had been sent, but without any tracking information (as their website states they will provide). After another 10 days I contacted 'customer service' and was told it looked like the item was still in-transit between the US and Australia. When I queried this (based on other online stores being able to deliver from the US in 3 days for lower shipping cost) and asked for the parcel tracking number by days end OR give me a refund (because I would assume that the item had in fact not been sent) they opted to give me the refund.

My advice would be don't bother with these guys, hopeless systems and processes, no proactive customer service and you can probably buy the same product elsewhere for similar cost without all the hassles (as I ended up doing).

Great easy to use website, helpful staff and good prices. Dstore are definitely the most reputable online store I've ever come across. I wouldn't trust a lot of those new ones that have popped up recently

dstore is not an authorised reseller!!! Your items are not covered by any warranty!!!! Do not buy!!!

Ive purchased a Stuhrling watch for over $600 under the impression my item is covered under manufacturer warranty. Lo and behold, my watch has malfunctioned and started showing the wrong time. Dstore claim, because my watch has passed their return period (7 days) that i have to contact the manufacturer. But Stuhrling the manufacturer claims "dstore" is not an authorised reseller and will not help with any warranty claims. Absolute disgrace!!! Dstore you should be banned from selling watches online.

I have now reported this to the ACCC as this item is not of merchantable quality. NSW Fair Trading have agreed to chase up my complaint and re-assure me that Dstore is in serious breach of my Consumer guarantees and statutory rights and will find a solution within 30days. Otherwise I have to take them to the CTTT (Court for small claims).

FYI – dstore has chosen to ignore all my emails, hoping i would just go away.

Their online returns policy states "Many of dstore's brand-name items are covered by manufacturer's warranties" Yet they dont tell you there are also many items that are NOT covered. I bet if everyone knew this, no one would buy from dStore.

Wow, bought a fantastic new Skagen watch from dstore which was about $30 cheaper than any retailer in Melbourne. Arrived in a little over a week, apparently direct from their warehouse in USA. Packaging was good, watch is beautiful and communication with dstore eccellent, definately using again.

Worst experience with a store ever!
I tried to order flowers to be delivered to a friend to cheer her up. They did not get delivered that day. I contacted dstore and was advised that they would need to follow up with the florist and they would call me back. Nothing. I've called 5 times since all I get is someone taking messages that they pass on. I did get a call back and they said they have had trouble contacting the florist. That is not my problem. They say same day delivery if ordered prior to 11am, and then fail to provide the promised service. They offered to cancel my order, but I just want flowers delivered to my friend (and I specifically got dstore vouchers for this purpose).

Dstore has everything, from apparel, pet supplies, movies, make up, etc. They are cheaper than most retailer. The shipping cost is also low and reasonable. The customer service responds promptly and very generous is giving purchase credit when you write them reasonable complains.

It is very convenient and very easy to navigate their website.

Dstore is excellent for looking for gifts and other goods online. It's an online department store that has a little bit of everything - however it is all top quality products. Some items are the same or dearer than the stores and that just comes down to knowing your prices.
I've purchased from them several times and my items have always arrived very quickly with no faults. They also offer heaps of promotions such as free postage, $5 vouchers and competitions! Definetly worth a look!

I bought a few things from this store years ago when I received a voucher from a showbag - those things are still running!

I LOVE dStore! They have a great range of products, excellent clearance sale (e.g DVDs from $4.95) and some unique and individual gift items. Their shipping is a flat rate which is great, and their items are always packaged well and I have never received a damaged item. Their shipping is also very FAST! Also from time to time they send you gift vouchers for your birthday, and if you bought a lot recently, which are always nice surprises. Highly recommended!

They have a fantastic range of products to choose from, even for those 'hard-to-buy-for' people!! Customer service is always friendly, quick & reliable - willing to fix any problems that may arise.
