Wish I could give these guys 6 stars! I’ve been going here for 15 years and spend an average of $140 for a months worth of meat and eggs which are incredibly fresh and organic. Honesty changed our lives from the diet out. These guys have made organic affordable for normal people - it’s cheaper than the supermarkets charge for non organic! They are export quality, so have very high standards and it really shows in the meat and the meals we are able to create with it. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed after a decent drive to Dural Poultry and Meat to be told on arrival that they do not do organic meat anymore and haven't for a number of years. So many of the links go back to the old owner.

I've been coming to Dural Poultry and Meats for 10 years, It was my little secret, but I have had to tell folks were I get my steaks from.
Jack, who runs the place told me he has 3 properties, 2 in the Mudgee area and a new property in the Hunter Valley.
He ages his steaks. You should try the "cattleman's " steak, if your man enough . If you have a smoker then cook it low and slow.
I buy my eggs there, $8.50 for 20 eggs (Jumbo size).
I got our Christmas Ham and a Turkey last Christmas, there were great.

I came here after reading the latest review and was not disappointed. I bought the twin pack free-range chickens (about 1.9kg for 2) for $10.50 and cooked it today - tastes good. Also the open tray of 2 1/2 doz free-range eggs for $7. Great value and quality.

Dural Poultry & Meat own their own stock in Mudgee, their own abattoir and their own butcher outlets. The food is cheaper than supermarket prices for standard poultry & meat, yet it is organic! Amazing quality. Their raw chicken has no smell whatsoever, compared to the smelly stuff you get form most places. Their organic free range hens' eggs are chepaer than cage eggs ($7 for 2 1/2doz 70gm)! Can't praise it enough.

Dural Poultry and Meat has got to be the best butcher I have ever seen. On our first visit to the store, Jack, the General Manager spoke so passionately about his farm and animals and his nutrionist background, wanting to make meats healthier etc. Apart from the fact his meat is cheaper than what you could get at Coles or Woolworths, the quality is unbelievable. Chuck steak with not horrible hard fat running through it, home-made sausages that don't drip wtih fat and taste amazing (Asian flavour is our favourite), you name it, they have it for a fraction of the cost and the best quality you will find. His home-made BBQ Plum sauce is to die for!
