This place is awesome! I love the décor and it's set back location. Food is always so fresh, the juice was also delicious and I love all of the quirky items they have for sale. Great place to eat and also to get that unique gift. Kid friendly too which is a bonus - plenty of room for a pram if needed.

I've had so many friends 'check in' at E for Ethel, we just had to give it a go for our regular Sunday brunch date.

We left the house a little late for breakfast, so we both had lunch items. I had a sandwich with ham, onion jam, and delicious salad stuff on it, and the boyf had a mushroom bruschetta.

My sandwich was HEAVENLY, and the boyf's meal was good, but the brown bread was nice but cut too thick, so he ended up putting some of it aside and eating mainly the topping. We would go for lunch there again in a FLASH though.

The best thing about E for Ethel though, is that there are so many wonderful items in the store, as it is a gift store AND cafe. I was distracted by all the cute stuff, and will be back to buy some things!

This is a great little cafe and gift shop. This is very different to other cafes I have been to, it is very quiet, cosy and the atmosphere is extremely friendly.

A great place for a coffee and something light to eat. My friend and I had the pancakes with delicious berries and ice-cream. We were told that their smoothies are to die for, so will try one next time. They also have quite an array of scrumptious looking cakes. They offer gluten free and also cater for vegetarians.

This is such a welcoming friendly cafe, I highly recommend.

This is a gorgeous little café tucked away off of Melbourne street. Wonderful retro décor, and such a friendly atmosphere, it is very welcoming. Lots of stuff for sale, some of which I've bought myself. A lot of it is hand made and helping out local businesses. Fantastic milkshakes and I LOVE the fruit toast! Pop in for a relaxed getaway from your busy day.

Approximate cost: $10.00

To be honest if I hadn't been given a gift voucher I would have never known this place existed. I put it under Baby category because that's what I spent my voucher on. I bought a cute singlet with a little bow tie on it (Mashed Banana) and a sock monkey (no tag so I forget who made it). We also had a milkshake and toasted sandwich while we were there, it was fantastic such a great atmosphere. And the lady that served us was really friendly and happy to chat, not push at all. It was a great place and I will definitely be going back.
