How is this business still in operation?
Booked a pick-up on Sunday. Still sitting there on Tuesday night. Contacted them and their response was it's scheduled for pick-up on Tuesday. No response to my request on Wednesday. Cancelled Thursday and received no apology, explanation or excuse. Why offer a service you have no intention of providing? Did they think I just wouldn't notice?

How do you rate a company less than 1 star??

Damaged my delivery labelled "fragile" by throwing the box on the porch. Extremeley poor customer service. Customer service doesn't reply for extended periods of time. Company refuses to pay insurance for broken tv - Why accept payment if you know TV's aren't covered? Never had such a bad experience with a delivery company.

Look at all the reviews about this company.... do yourself a favour, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

Terrible service.
They will automatically charge you sundry fees and rip you off!!!
Paid $42 when booked on line.
Then automatically got charged $55 sundry fee and 3 days later they automatically charged $227 to my account. Total rip off

After pick-up of the item, they charged me a sundry fee as the dimensions/weight weren't what I entered on their website.
I disputed this charge as I checked and re-checked my figures.
The only way to contact them is through an email form from their website, which remains unanswered.
They came a day late for the pick-up without any notice.
I paid for them to call me 30 mins prior and didn't receive this service.
It appears they lure you in with very affordable prices, then hit you with a sundry charge which was 40% of the value of the original quote. I compared this total charge to what it would have cost on their website using much larger dimensions and weights. Which was much bigger than what I had originally booked, so reinforces the the charge is a rort.
If you do use them, take pictures of your dimensions/weight as proof, in case they charge you extra. You can then use that as part of the Paypal dispute resolution process to help expedite a refund.

Turn up days late and then after the finally pick up the package u get an email saying that the dimensions weren't declared correctly and they have charged u a few more dollars automatically. they just have to power to take more money from you without evidence of what its for or permission and then tell u over the phone there is nothing u can do but lodge a ticket online which goes unanswered.
They did use to he good up to around 2020 now they are super shonky

One star is one star too many.

After months of trying to get an answer from E-go, today they told me that missing deliveries need to be notified within 48 days.
I first contacted them on day nine and was asked to be patient due to a back log caused by COVID.
I stupidly waited patiently and then contacted again 4 weeks later. Numerous emails were exchanged where they continued to ask for my patience due to their depot being shut down.
Again, stupidly I waited.
Now, having pursued them repeatedly and being told they have updated their system, today they told me my enquiry is outside their 48 day limit.
I want it to be very clear that I had ongoing contact with them from 9 days after they sent me the first of two dispatch notifications.
Never in 35 years of business have I encountered such an unprofessional business.

I sent a bike in a sturdy cardboard box from Melbourne to Canberra. It took 4 days, but the box had been smashed, crushed and completely ripped open. A real effort would have been needed to damage it so badly. Of course, no answer from their ticket system and no easy way to contact them. I won't use them in future.

Trying to get a refund for a label not used - no phone number and numerous emails sent which are replied to by Hunter Express who say they can’t process the refund or contact them for me - when they do the right thing they are good for multiple items to the same address and cheaper than most but they have deactivated all avenues of direct email that they used to have - not happy on this occasion

Do not use them if you don't want any delays in your packages.
Very unreliable and you are not able to contact them.
I missed their phone call from 0449 041 841 and I tried to call them back on the same number but it's blocked for incoming calls, it says send a text message instead but they are not replaying on any of them.

E-go sent my first package to the wrong house number. My second package was sent to the wrong street.

I only sourced my first package because of an honest neighbour. The second package I only found by accident when door knocking my neighborhood. These dealings were a few years ago but I never got around to writing a review, so here it is.

Do NOT deal with any business who uses this courier service. Lazy drivers & very poor phone customer service.

Very disappointing indeed. We will not be using this service again, nor recommend this service to anyone. There is a heap of misinformation on their site which they have disclaimed as an 'guideline' and 'estimates' Their customer service as it is lacking. This was our first time experience using this services. Our initial reasoning to use your service was that you offered same day pick up on orders placed before 3pm. As we only operate 4 days a week, two of those days being during the week, it is difficult to navigate postage collection on services that offer next day collection. We thought this service could be our answer.

Not only was it to our disappointment that the pick up on the same day wasn't fulfilled, but the customer service given in finding a solution was greatly lacking. There was no apology given, no compromise to make an acceptable solution and completely no customer recovery resolution made. Instead we were met with no alternative but to go through with the order, as to not give them the satisfaction of receiving a cancellation fee on a service they did not provide.

After we had rescheduled our collection, in which it was collected without hassle, we sent an eta update request three business days after as there wasn't any information on their tracking service on their site. We received notification that "we are not seeing any scans on this to show it was dropped off to the depot or collected from the Sender". No update was given from this point only a generic disclaimer of delays.

The following day, we received an update from our customer, the recipient of the parcel, that the package had arrived but one of the contents was broken. By this stage we had been consulting with our customer giving them updates of their parcels delays, asking them for their understanding and their patience. Unfortunately we couldn't supply them with a tracking service, as the information provided on their site was unsubstantial. By the time our customer received their parcel, with one of the items damaged, their patience had run out and have asked for a refund instead of a replacement.

The services we received from e-go was less accommodating and insincere. We have now been thrown their disclaimer on their Indemnity T&C which hit us as yet another great disappointment, which was an extra we paid for cover. We can appreciate the in's and out's of courier services, there are things that happen that are out of their control, however there is also management of those happenings. What we have received is a con service.

We bought tiles from a company in Brisbane who uses this freight company. We were advised that the shipment would leave Brisbane on Friday night and mostly likely arrive in Newcastle on the Monday, Tuesday at the latest. It's now been 7 days and there is no sign of our tiles. There is no tracking information on the website. There is no phone number to call. All you can do is send an email to their enquiries email address. We even drove to their Depot in Cardiff to try and obtain some information - the man there could not tell us where the parcel was. I don't know how these guys stay in business. Do not use.

Consignment number XX668132, was booked to be picked up on the 30/11, so after 9 days of waiting and no action I contacted e go and they rebooked for the 30/12, 1 month late. I said this was not acceptable and for the order to be cancelled. Now they want to charge me $18 cancellation fee. The e go help team has been no help after wasting my time with about 12 emails. Bad company to deal with

Organised some commercial fridges to be delivered, clearly stating they were fridges, delivery was ok but 2 days late. Trying to return these items and they were refused as the company states they dont deliver fridges? i cant make sense of it all but then spent 2 weeks following up a refund which was done in 3 parts and still $28 underpaid...

Would NOT use this company ever again

DO NOT USE THIS COURIER!

e-go courier is unreliable especially pickup the items. Their drivers always late coming to pickup around 5-6pm.

Most warehouses don't open till 6pm. If they come and miss their collections, They will make you pay $44 futile fee.

Shonks pure and simple. The buyer arranged these guys off an ebay purchase. Driver tries to leave after literally 10 seconds, I just made to door. He then DROPS the parcel and claims I threw it at him??? then their "customer service" calls me after I register a complaint claiming I abused their driver and threw things at him?? are these guys for real?wouldn't give me her name so I could (fruitlessly) register another complaint, whats the point . The reviews are real, also this is just Hunter Express with a name change because of the same incredibly bad reviews they got. How do they stay in business? because cheap skates won't pay for a real courier, use these guys to save a buck and you get what you pay for pure and simple.

Carton forwarded Melb: to Dubbo 13/06/18 after many emails to Ego still no answer where the carton is.
We have used Ego many years now, This is poor service, The worst of its kind.
Contact with Hunters still has been no help.
We are a Business What has happened to the Real Service?
Do not be fooled because they are just cheap.

After reading the reviews I was a little worried about using this service, but we had a packing box weighing about 20kg, sent from Cairns, Qld to Maryborough, Qld ( depot to depot,) recently with no issues. The box arrived on time, it took 7 days, and cost $50. Have other friends that have also used this service with no issues. I would use them again.

Used E-go to get a carton from Cairns to Sydney. Whilst in transit (in their NSW depot) they put a fork lift tyne through my carton and damaged my item. After a week overdue I contacted them to see where the parcel was and they admitted the damage and sent photos (item was still in their NSW depot). Because I didn't have insurance, they apparently have no responsibility. I am now out-of-pocket over $2000 for the damaged item. Customer Service is non-existent and I believe even if I had insurance, they would have made the process so hard, I probably never would have got any money out of them anyway. Steer clear of E-go and Hunter Express. I will never use them or buy goods from other companies that use E-go or Hunter Express.

Paid $8.50 to redirect address,
Then waited over 1 week for goods to be delivered and I had to email them to see where my items were, so they told me they'll deliver the following day and I asked them to call me before they arrived and they wanted to charge me $2.50+GST for a phone call! I can't believe how bad this system is!

The worst delivery company in Australia. The box arrived damaged, the item destroited. Paid insurance. Spent months to try to get money back, in 3 months they told they will not give anything. Very rude and unprofessional stuff. No telephone contacts, no responsibility. Be away!

Check their policy/disclaimer -they hold no responsibility whatsoever for any damage. My item -an antique, well wrapped and clearly marked, was literally thrown int eg back of the truck, floating around with other items. When they opened the tailgate, it was in pieces. They left it on the ground in a pile of a few dozen pieces and said it wasn't their responsibility. 'Read the form' I was told.

Customer service centre was incredibly rude and disinterested.
