I never write reviews but feel that these clowns have gone the extra mile and the good peopleof QLD deserve a heads up before choosing to deal with them.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced and the mechanic refused to complete the inspection because the trailer was on the grass and not a driveway.

Avoid. Avoid like the f*!&×ng plague. There are plenty of others out there offering the same services - these wankers aren't offering anything unique. Move on to the next in Google results.

Due to convenience, I asked for a roadworthy certificate on 22 December 21 before selling my car which was regularly serviced by my dealer under warranty. Unfortunately it failed. Just visual inspection described oil leaks ! I then ask my regular mechanic to check, they confirmed no oil leak. Some oil spills mark from pre service time only. We got our roadworthy certificate from them. Very disappointed with east coast’s technical experience. It was a complete waste of time.

It is better to ask your regular mechanic for a RWC

If negative stars were an option this business would receive a negative 100.

Disgusted with this group.

I was provided with a roadworthy for a horse float. The roadworthy was done the day prior to purchase. Not worth the paper it’s written on.

Axle fitted upside down. No hand break. Bearings on all wheels shot. One wheel basically fell off when my repairer put it on the hoist. I could go on and on. Contact them and they pretty much don’t care. The seller and these people should be ashamed of themselves.

This place shouldn’t be in business.

The axle was down on the tyre as we were floating our horse for the first time. Prompting other motorists to wave us down at the traffic lights to tell us smoke was coming out the back of the float.

NEVER EVER TRUST THIS BUSINESS FOR A ROADWORTHY

RWC conducted Aug 6th 2020 by an Examiner from this organisation- [Name removed] few days later after purchasing this car it went for a service. It was found the drivers rear tyre is down to the CANVAS and a stone chip in the drivers view of the windscreen. BOTH issues individuality should have failed this RWC if it was conducted correctly or at all? In brief we purchased a car with the high possibility of a major accident if we hadn't taken this car in for a service. The whole reason for a RWC .... means a SAFE car to drive for a limited time (2 months or 2000 kms) or why bother at all? Worst of all, this information including a video taken by the service team at BMW was forward to East Coast Mobile Safety Certificates [Name removed] The reply was reflective and defensive (our fault???), not at all what we were expecting due to the obvious mistake on their part. We understand mistakes happens but its the putting right and taking responsibility that matters and today ... weeks later .. Crickets on their part. They simply do not care. Well, I do for fellow road users .. and have handed this onto Transport and Main Roads. I wouldn't accept or use this organisation for a RWC on a car ... based on the lack of taking responsibility from [Name removed]

One of East Coast representatives Craig came to road worthy my motorbike. Craig was personable, very thorough and very knowledgeable about motorbikes in general. I would recommend this company and Craig and I am very happy with the price and service. Cheers Michelle.

Had great service from East Coast last week.
Had a Roadworthy Certificate done on my Hilux and needed two new tyres.
They sent the tyre van out and Scott fitted up two BFG’s at a very reasonable price.
Friendly staff and great service. I would recommend them to anyone.

Whilst i reside in NSW, I have a daughter in Brisbane who neded s car. She picked a car up (an older Camry) from me and drove back to Brisbane knowing that it would need a road worthy to re-registered in QLD.
I googled and found and contacted East Coast Mobile Safety Certificates and set up an appointment with my daughter (with limited mechanical knowledge or skills) to do the inspection.
Whilst the car was roadworthy 2 building faults were found, quoted on and carried out to the convenience of my daughter.
I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism and the flexibility of all the team at ECMSC's being good to know you can still trust good tradespeople and knowledgeable business's to look after mechnical needs even from a distance.

I purchased a car with a RWC done by ECMSC and the cars handbrake didnt work at all, the rear shocks where completely failed and it was leacking power steering fluid and oil from valve cover. I then inquired to the head office on how this passed and wanting explanations and some financial help fixing it as they did not comply with QTMR laws. The customer service i received was absolutely disgusting and made they treated me like a fool. I would never use this company as they cannot even spot simple items that need repairing. Absolutely useless.

No, they passed an unroadworthy car, were rude and asked petty question like if I could take a photo of the shocks and handbrake yet they will not come out and inspect on my property as the car is unsafe to drive yet they are a mobile inspection? makes no sense and the customer service is poor, receiving emails that do not answer the important questions I asked and ended up completely shutting me off when I questioned why they couldnt be mobile and wanted me to risk my life again as they are too incompetent to assess a vehicle without a hoist yet can pass one for a RWC without a hoist. They lied and mislead me in circles and were very rude to a someone who's life they endangered by there incompetent inspection. Read the google reviews and you will find many that say the say. Absolute shocking service and a disgrace to the automotive industry. Obviously they do not care about road safety AT ALL!

At East Coast Safety Certificates we take the inspection of vehicles seriously, along with the services provided by our team. Be assured we will investigate this issue with our licensed examiner and of course as per our terms of service, guarantee to rectify any faults in accordance with the Code of Practice following a second inspection by an alternate inspector if preferred. Please contact us at your convenience.

Why do you keep commenting on my review yet stopped answering my questions and replying to my emails in private. You do not care about safety otherwise you would have come and inspected the vehicle at my premises instead of asking to drive it when it is unsafe and un-roadwothy. You asked me to take photos of rear shocks and a handbrake after cancelling an inspection at my property for not being able to find your copy of the RWC. It shows that it was just a petty attempt to fob me off and now as I am taking action you are on the defense in public, trying to be a show yet again that I am in the wrong when you and your inspector clearly are. And what is this "code of practice" and where can one view it? it isn't on your term or conditions and isn't a government specified code of practice. Guessing all these review on here are fake and done by your employers as compared to google ones its a vast contrast. Hope your proud of running and working for such a Un-Australian business.

Hi! I just found East Coast on Google and they came that day. I was selling my car to move to Canada. The way they handle the bookings is very streamlined and they gave me a call 1/2 hr before they arrived (which not too many companies do). Thanks to all the staff, great job.
