From Greg's first visit to evaluate the scope of the job, through to completion, we were very impressed.

Greg was most generous with his time during our initial meeting, and subsequent quoting visit ... which allowed for a thorough assessment of the work needed and an accurate quote with no surprises.

Our job was both large and complex. Many of our gutters and down-pipes required not only replacing, but re-leveling and installation of flashing behind. Our roof structure consists of many convoluted junctions which needed to be reinforced ... no simple task!

Greg's vast knowledge, experience and skill set were very impressive.
But equally as important to us was his, and his team's, level of care. They demonstrated a genuine sense of pride in their work, and commitment to achieving PERFECTION ... not only functionally, but aesthetically as well. Attention to detail is what is all about. After struggling to find a company to replace my concealed gutters I came across Greg from Eastside Roofing. And what a find Greg and his team were. They efficiently replaced by gutters, they worked cleanly and always with a smile. Even with a height challenge on the rear of the property, it was never a challenge for Greg. They arrived when they said, finished when they said and always kept me in the loop of what was happening. Greg is clearly very knowledgeable and took the time to explain so I felt like I knew everything I needed to know about guttering. Greg's communication was fantastic.

Another excellent job by Greg and his team. (Greg had done other works for me before.) This time I had the whole double garage metal roof replaced. Part of the plasterboard ceiling had sagged over time and eventually mould appeared and water was leaking inside the garage.

Greg provided the same excellent professional service as before. He is very experienced, quickly working out what had to be done. The quote was detailed. The whole team was very friendly. They were hard working, only stopping briefly for lunch and they cleaned up at the end of each day. The finished job was very impressive.

We had our carport roof and gutters to be redone and the challenge was the adjacent unit carport joint with out roof.

We have an awkward roof due to a series of extensions. Greg was knowledgeable & helpful with the quotation & patient as we considered our options. The guys did a great job, were a pleasure to have around, cleaned up & even came back for a final check. I lived in a house with concealed gutters where water would flow into the house during heavy rain. I've contacted more than dozen company and thankfully I chose Eastside Roofing. I find that the Gutter Enforcement system that Greg developed is superior than other solution. The work involved replacing 2 rotten outdoor posts , add down pipes, rebuild framing , replace all the eaves lining and repairing fascia corners . So not small job and the work was completed on time on budget with minimal fuss. Greg and the team are very professional troughout. Few weeks after the job completed and invoice paid - we discover that they left a tiny hole in one of the corner eaves, and Greg fixed it shortly after we reported them. The job was completed last year and so far we haven't had any issue. Completely recommended.

After making a few online requests to get quotes from a few roofing companies, Greg was the only one who quickly gave me a reasonable quote. The other companies either did not bother to respond, or tried to scare me into getting more done than was necessary. Greg and his team did the job with a minimum of fuss. We had Greg and the boys replace our 1970s style concealed gutters with colorbond gutters, fascia covers and new downpipes. Greg has developed a solution that eliminates the multitude of issues encountered by this guttering system . From the outset Greg came out and spent a great deal of time looking over the job and advising us to the best approach. I'll admit that we did our due diligence getting other quotes but to be honest, the rest were cowboys looking for a quick buck with a quick fix. They didn't seem interested in tackling the job as it provided too many challenges.
From the time Eastside started the job until it was finished the boys worked tirelessly and meticulously to produce a final result that we couldn't be happier with. We'd like to thank Greg, Rob, Lucas and Jake for being so fabulous to deal with and for the outstanding service and quality they provided. I cannot recommend Eastside Roofing highly enough.

Highly recommend Greg to anyone in Melbourne looking for expertise in fixing a leaky roof. Although very busy he promptly attended to thoroughly assess our roof and methodically seek to identify the cause for our leaks. As our problem was complex we sought a number of other quotes and all others proclaiming to be experts seemed to offer quotes which did not actually target the source of the leak. He is honest and practices with integrity. He made it clear to us that he wouldn't be able to complete all the works required immediately but completed the necessary more urgent works promptly and scheduled in the remaining larger works at a mutually convenient time. He was on site during all the works and oversaw the work of his team. His communication was excellent, he attended at he scheduled times and completed the works exactly as quoted.

I engaged Greg to replace my 1970s concealed eaves gutters which consistently leaked and overflowed in the eaves due to flawed design. Greg replaced the gutters with a custom-folded one-piece gutter with continuous perimeter overflow. He also installed new Colorbond fascia covers and down pipes, new valley and soaker, and re-bedded and pointed all ridge and hip cappings.

Working in the design of commercial plumbing for large building projects across Australia, I can verify that Greg's design and installation is very good, complies with the relevant standard and handbook, and he pays attention to detail. There have been no more leaks despite heavy recent rainfall. Workmanship was very good and his guys cleaned up after themselves each day. He even replaced some damaged eave linings and installed some timber moulding.

Greg is very easy to deal with and kept me informed of progress.

I would recommend Greg for your future roofing project.

Greg and his team did a fantastic job on replacing our old guttering. The old guttering was in poor condition and did not flow properly so it is so nice to have shiny new guttering professionally installed. The team turned up when they said they would, cleaned up beautifully at the end and even put up with our puppy barking at them every time they came anywhere near her. Greg and his team did a great job at our house. Our 25 year old double storey home has box guttering (internal) and timber fascias. Over the years we had experienced various problems from our inadequate guttering and our fascias were rotting away in various areas. Whilst numerous previous tradesmen were not interested in doing our job, viewing it too hard, Greg was eager to find solutions to our problems. He replaced our old guttering, downpipes, replaced rotten areas of our timber fascias and then covered all our timber fascias with Colorbond steel. It was a big job which required patience, persistence and took several weeks. Ideally we should have hired scaffolding for our job to make it easier for Greg and his team, but he saved us the hiring costs by coming up with safe and innovative scaffolding solutions to reach the second storey gables. Each day his team cleaned up before they departed, it hardly felt like we were in the middle of major renovations. Greg is a rare tradesman. He is true to his word, delivers quality work and exactly what he promises. Thanks Greg.

We had a leak in our ceiling above an old extension (with a skillion roof at the rear of the house) and couldn't identify where it was coming from. Some roofers were not interested in quoting and I got one quote from a guy that hardly got on the roof, quoted and was off within 5 mins?! Greg came around to check out the job and spent quite a bit of time inspecting the roof and gutters before he gave his opinion and later a quote to fix the job.....Job was done without any quote variations and no more leaking. I engaged Eastside roofing a year ago to locate and fix a leak that had baffled others and created damage and staining to the inside of my lounge wall and ceiling.
