Hi,
I have got a filling last week but I had to wait for about half an hour. The center should have some way to notice the clients about the delay in advance or at least at arrival. It would not be fare for us to pay cancellation fee for coming late for 10 minutes, while we had to rush in on time, then had to wait.
The filling service is fine as far as I am experienced

Been going here for years, all the dentists are amazing. Staff have not been helpful regarding providing assistance for dental treatment for my little boy and actually refused to provide an alternative referral I can actually afford for specialist treatment. When I asked go escalate the issue it was denied by admin staff and told my little boy was terminated for treatment. Being investigated by AHPRA and the governing body. Appalling customer service denying a little boy a referral for specialist emergency treatment.

As everyone can see there was zero profanity - I simply dared to request an alternative referral that I could afford so my son could get treated. The response from Kaitlin Hampel was unwarranted, unkind, unhelpful, inappropriate. She treated a paying customer with contempt.

I was refused an alternative referral because they have a monetary relationship with one paediatric dentist in Fremantle who does not accept Medicare childrens dental benefit scheme and is very expensive. When I contacted the practice in Fremantle they were very helpful in advising me that EDental should have provided me with a practical referral that suited my financial situation. However Kaitlin hampel reacted very badly to that request.

At no point has Kaitlin Hampel contacted me to resolve this issue. My initial attempts to contact her to resolve it was abruptly blocked. When I tried to escalate to the owner (who pays her) she refused this request.

Kaitlin Hampel has failed to adhere to the Dental Act below

3.10 Adverse events and open disclosure
When adverse events occur, practitioners have a responsibility to be open and honest in communication with a patient or client to review what has occurred and to report appropriately (also see open disclosure at Section 6.2(a)). When something goes wrong, good practice involves:

recognising what has happened
acting immediately to rectify the problem, if possible, including seeking any necessary help and advice
explaining to the patient or client as promptly and fully as possible what has happened and the anticipated short-term and long-term consequences
listening to the patient or client
acknowledging any patient or client distress and providing appropriate support
complying with any relevant policies, procedures and reporting requirements, subject to advice from a professional indemnity insurer
reviewing adverse events and implementing changes to reduce the risk of recurrence (see Section 6 Minimising risk)
reporting adverse events to the relevant authority as required (see Section 6 Minimising risk), and
ensuring patients or clients have access to information about the processes for making a complaint (for example, through the relevant National Board or healthcare complaints commission).
3.11 When a complaint is made
Patients or clients have a right to complain about their care. When a complaint is made or a formal notification is received by a Board, good practice involves:

acknowledging the persons right to complain
working with the person to resolve the issue where possible
providing a prompt, open and constructive response including an explanation and, if appropriate, an apology
ensuring the complaint or notification does not affect the persons care adversely; in some cases, it may be advisable to refer the person to another practitioner, and
complying with relevant complaints legislation, policies and procedures.

It's new name is E-dental! The clinic is open from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week! I would say this clinic has changed for the better - New staff, new dental x-Ray equipment. Friendly and professional dentists, like Lily and Liong. Convenient location with parking right at the doorstep.

Approximate cost: $250

I visited this dentist this evening in an emergency as I could no longer put up with the pain I was getting from a tooth I needed extracting. I had an appointment within 2hours of calling up and they were fantastic, friendly, helpful and all at a great price considering it was an after hours appointment. Highly recond this dentists :) defiantly service with a smile from the friendly receptionist, dental nurse & dentist!!

I have been to a couple of dentists but I actually travel extra distance to go to this one. They are all so friendly. You don't have to wait weeks for an appointment, they can usually get you in almost straight away. They are open 7 days, 8 til 8, so very convenient for emergencies. I have recommended this dentist to numerous family members and friends.
