Decided to walk here for breakfast one Sunday morning with the family and wasn't disappointed. All the dishes that were ordered were great, the pancakes especially. Very reasonable prices and good service. I have tried their cakes before but have never been to the cafe until now. The Massini (well known cake) is my Dad's absolute favourite sweet.

Today I specifically went to elbio patisserie & cafe to try their new "healthier" AVOCROISSANT which is available in plain or multi-grain; I tried both, but decided on the multi-grain avocado croissant melted ham and cheese with salad and cappuccino.

The cappuccino is always good as I enjoy a good coffee that is strong, but not bitter.

I decided to see how the new croissants compared with the hand rolled croissants I had enjoyed there previously!

I was very happy with both the taste and texture of the avocado croissant; avocado replaces 50% of its butter content and has 50% less saturated fat! HIGHLY RECOMMEND people try!

The staff were very warm and welcoming and in addition to their great hospitality, Elbio Perez (the owner) always has time to share a free smile (part of his branding too) with all who enter elbio patisserie & cafe!

Despite being very busy, there is always ample amount of parking and all of my orders were delivered in a "leisurely timely fashion."

A visit to elbio patisserie & cafe would not be complete without enjoying a pastry or two!

As I couldn't decided today on one, I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate ricotta cannoli and the chocolate eclair; as the smoothness of the ricotta combined with the chocolate was great.

The portion size of the desserts was perfect as they left me yearning for more and look forward to revisiting and have just left!

elbio patisserie & cafe is a great place to catch up with friends!

Tried this cafe after reading your great review, what a fabulous place for coffee and cake, as well as everything else. Absolutely delicious. Thanks.

Have coffee and cake here at least once a week. Having been told by a friend some time ago, it is now our absolute favourite place for excellent coffee, yummy cakes and the lunches are good too.

I have eaten here at lunchtime with my girlfriends from High School a number of times. We love it because of the location, convenient for all of us; the service, quietly & unobtrusively efficient & courteous. Also, mainly, because of the food. South American inspired, they are melt in the mouth delicious. There are dishes which we do not normally see in our area, which is predominantly Italian & Asian fare. To be able to see into the large factory while eating is an additional bonus. We usually have coffee as well, so we spend about 3-4 hours there for lunch on average. We've been friends for 50 years, so we have a lot of experience of dining out between us. Value is great. There is an excellent access ramp too for us Seniors if we need it. The only down side is the parking: there are only about 12 parking spaces on site, & as it's so popular we usually have to park on the street. Plenty of room there though, so that is not really a problem. We are usually 'watching our weight', so we tend to 'admire' the sweets in their display case rather than eat them, but one of my friends has used them for special occasion cakes & says they are wonderful.

Approximate cost: $10-$12

Ebio is a great place if you have a sweet tooth. I promised my girlfriend I would take her after her friends told here about it. So much to choose from, I just wanted a cup of coffee but she had to try a couple of small pieces of cake and then of course take some home with us. I enjoyed my coffee, my girlfriend got her sugar fix.

Fast friendly service, I am sure we will be returning.

There food was fantastic. Full of flavor a decent size and worth the money. I brought a lemon slice. The slice was fresh and a nice texture.

I heard about this little place from a friend at work. She raved about the cakes especially chaja and Massini so I had to go and see what the fuss was all about! It completley lived up to my expectations, I had the empanadas for lunch which are a south american style pasty, the best kind of pasty I have ever had and then my friend and I shared a chaja and Massini. I still can't pick my favourite! They sell boxes of their products at great prices so I ordered a box of Massini and a box of Chaja for my birthday next weekend!

Elbio is a very welcoming and friendly place, we stopped by for three dozen mixed small cakes for the freezer for upcoming parties and guests which was great value, but also we received a tour of the venue which was unexpected as at the time Elbio was undertaking renovations. Deliciously yummy and big croissants too. Looking forward to going back.

A friend and I enjoyed our experience at Elbio very much. We learned from the Owner they were of Spanish origin and the menu reflects this.
It was a great experience and I have recommended it to friends

The newly renovated cafe is just outstanding with excellent food and service from very friendly staff. As the name states they are all about the sweets though with the most mouthwatering cakes. The Massini (their signature cake) is a must, but my ultimate favourite is the Chaja (pronounced Jaha). It's just heavenly. I recently had the Chocolate Mousse celebration cake which was just to die for.
The great thing I've found is that you can purchase the cakes fresh or frozen which makes it perfect to keep a box or 3 in the freezer for unexpected guests.

Second visit to Elbio this time for lunch. Mexican empanada was absolutely delicious and with a nice fresh salad on the plate too.
But the Chaja cake was just divine. Coming back with the whole family for next visit.

Love this place, and today found they have extended their cafe, so plenty of space for breakfast or lunch, bought their Chaja cake for my daughters 18th birthday, had little chocolate hearts all over it, they have a picture online, it was a great hit with all guests with the layers of peaches, cream, caramel, meringue and sponge. Perfect choice

Like their name suggests, Elbio All About Sweets is serious about making yummy pastries and cakes! They have the prettiest and tastiest range of cakes ranging from cheesecakes to tiramisus. If you want you can enjoy the cake with a cup of coffee as they have a small section allowing dine in. I generally buy an assortment and take them away. You can buy big boxes of one type of cake for a cheaper price.
