Possibly the worst pumpkin soup I have ever had. A gallon of pepper overpowered everything. It was inedible.

This is a Geelong icon but the service is very average. There are not enough staff on and they are not particularly interested in serving you at times (especially the young guys). The drinks are a bit over priced and so is the food in the restaurant. Bar meals are reasonable value and decent quality. The beer garden has a great atmosphere. It is close to being outstanding but a few things let this place down.

great place to pop in and have a few drinks on a friday arvo after work. staff are always friendly and they have a big beer garden plenty of seating outside. its a very busy pub though so can get a bit rowdy on the weekends

this pub gets quite busy in the afternoon its quite popular among the locals,its a nice place to sit on a sunny day in the beer garden i found the staff to be a bit abrupt though and not very friendly towards children

the beer garden here is quite big and would be a lovely place to grab a quick lunch through summer especially. drinks were resonably priced and the staff were extremely nice .

went there recently for a friends wake,this pub has a huge beer garden out the rear which is great as the function room wasnt really big enough to accomodate a huge gathering of people,the staff were quite friendly and the beers were reasonably priced,i quite enjoyed the chicken snitzel although it was a little more expensive than i exoected to pay

I love seeing Darren Lyon's photography all over the walls of Elephant and Castle since he took over ownership. The meals are still really good, and the staff are friendly. A great spot for a drink in the beer garden, or to hear some live music.

New ownership has changed things for the better! New beer garden, great prices, the friendliest staff in Geelong. Can't wait to see what they do next!
