It's important to note that some minor difficulties we encountered overseas had nothing to do with our Travel Agent, but we still received good advice regardless of the situation - which gives a great example of the high quality you get with this impressive local business. Mary oke, who manages and owns this business, is thorough and very friendly in all she does. She looked after all aspects of our brief visit to Dubai. The hotel is excellent as was the tour of the city yesterday. She also chose a marvellous apartment for us in Rome. When there was a glitch with our hire car in Scotland I wrote to her and she fixed it pronto.

I started off trying to organise everything myself for my travel with my son but it became too complicated. I then went to a travel agent in a large shopping complex but they didn't get back to me and when I tried to organise a time to come in and see them they were always busy. I was starting to get worried as time was getting on, so when they company told me they were moving I decided to try somewhere else.
I dropped in at Emerald Lake Travel as it was close to home and it was a breath of fresh air. Mary was incredibly attentive, patient, helpful, caring, friendly, experienced, understanding, proactive, honest and affordable. She kept in constant communication with me regarding how plans were going and gave me answers to questions I hadn't even thought to ask. She made it clear that their service didn't stop when we departed and that we could contact her when away if we needed anything. There was also follow up contact on our return. I would thoroughly recommend Emerald Lake Travel and would have no hesitation in going back again (hopefully next year)

Amazing.... Prompt, organized, efficient, understood my needs for travel, best price (I contacted lots of agents), great understanding of my requirements travelling with children (aged 6 & 10).
