I had $620 worth reward points. Someone hacked online and used in Altona while i was sitting at my home in Caulfield. The Incident was immediately reported once i received the e-receipt and realized what happened. It has been 4 months and despite following up every month all the response i get it "We have escalated the matter, the IT team is working on it"
I am unsure that how 4 months are utilized and this is not been worked upon - its a huge amount and nothing has been done about it !
I stopped going to Woolies and using rewards card as i cannot trust them anymore - very very disappointed !

Approximate cost: $620

Easy to scan when you shop and great that you get money off when you get enough points. Downside is it seems to take a while to get enough points

remember to scan your rewards card every time you do your shopping-easy to scan and easy to use,and in the future its like a surprise when you just randomly get a discount on your shopping...

This rewards program is not one of the best. Points expire quickly and redemption's seem to require a Qantas Frequent Flyer account/credit card.

Since I don't fly often and have no interest in credit cards, this program holds little value for me.

I also don't like that they do not give you points for shopping at Dan Murphy's.

On the plus side, having an everyday rewards card does entitle you to some discounts. And occasionally I get emails that offer deals like; spend $100 every week for three weeks and get a $15 gift-card/or $5 off each week.

The gift-cards take over a month to arrive though.

Overall, I take advantage of what little they have to offer me, but the Coles/FlyBuys program is a much better deal.

i think the genral idea of everyday rewards is great but i do think you do have to spend a lot befor the points actualy add up ... they do have deals for more points tho and its nice to get rewarded just for doing your shopping

Approximate cost: $30

Its basically 1 point per dollar but you have to spend 30 before that starts

You can use it in a few stores like BigW BWS Woolies and I think Cellerbrations

If you sign up to things they will often have double or triple points as bonus you will get an email that you just click on if you want to activate the deal like spend $50 get 500 bonus points that sort of thing

Qantas has linked up with it and so has Optus so if you buy regular recharges buy them at Big w or Woolies and scan it and it wont take long to add up your points

Esp.If your doing both phones and internet

You can also opt out of petrol discounts and get more of points deals

They're ok, I get the 4c off occasionally, but last time we went to a servo, there was a 20c a litre and a 4c off a litre on there, and since it was only half a tank of petrol, we wanted to use the 4c. But we were told by the operator they can't differentiate between voucher, and once it's scanned that you have to use it (I think he just didn't know what he was talking about, what if he had the wrong pump?). Annoying.

It's very annoying when staff do not know how vouchers work.

I personally find the Everyday rewards unattainable and you need to spend a decent amount to qualify for any real reward. They do email with regular offers that you can use instore etc , but you need to spend $30 instore to qualify for 4c/L petrol voucher which is put onto the card. We have a Qantas Credit card linked to the account but have found we shop here continuously just to obtain points. But overall, have found Aldi and other chains cheaper in comparison, in terms of shopping.

I agree with you. Very difficult to accumulate sufficient points to redeem.

cleoangel: Try taking them up on their bonus offer deals. I've been with them since Oct 13 and now have over 4300 points.

Overall, this isn't the best out there. You have to spend over $30 points before you get any benefits and most of the time I can't reach this goal because I do my shopping at Coles, Woolies, Aldi and Supabarn (i.e. not just Woolies). Yet to redeem and it will be some time yet. But I do like how I can link my Qantas card to it. However, you do get access to special discounts instore that you can't access without.
