Snapped my glasses on a Sunday night whilst cleaning. Panic as my old pair is way off prescription-wise. Start googling on tablet with eyes next to screen. Checked WOMO and this place has only good things said about it. Good thing hubby around to drive me around on Monday morning. Rang Eye Society and was told to come in and they would see what could be done. Best thing I could have done. Greeted by Gloria and Levon who are both friendly and reminds me what service really is. My frame was unfixable but the next best thing was to cut my lenses from broken frame and fit that as best into my really old pair of glasses.... exactly what Levon suggested and did and I can see again. We have an in house technician here which is a rare find. Got a new pair of glasses made. As I had not had eyes checked for a few years, needed to see optometrist and it must be kismet as there was a cancellation later that morning and I get to see Helen who is also friendly and professional. On Saturday, I get a call from Gloria to say my new pair of glasses ready. Amazing ...I am there and Levon fits glasses and I am a very happy customer. Telling everyone I know about this place now. THANK YOU! You are THE BEST!

I went into Eye Society to have my eyes tested and purchases new frames. I found the optometrist Dr Rutter helpful and she explained my problem clearly so that I could understand. The sales staff were skillfull and they knew what they were talking about. What impressed me most was that they did not push me to buy anything. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Love love love. I have had so much difficulty getting the right prescription and multi-focal lens fitting, in frames that actually fit me and my face. Eye Society came through on every level. I could not be happier. Will not be going anywhere else again even though I have to travel well outside of my area to get there. Thank you for being expert at everything you do :-)

After few months of desperate search for new pair of glasses and lenses, I found eye society through womo. I took my chance to travel all the way to springvale to see if I could find any frames that will suit. I was amazed. I actually found a few that look good on me with Gloria's help. With her help and my husband's opinion, I purchased a pair and made an appointment the next day to have my eyes check. The day I had my eyes check, there was a traffic jam and we took a wrong turn so we were late by 15 minutes. I rang Gloria if it's still okay to continue the appointment since we were already close by and she said it's fine (even though it's after closing time). The optometrist Vivienne was very pleasant and patient and overall very professional. I also talked to Levon about lenses options and he was very professional and explain what is the best lenses option for my circumstances that will look good (not looking thick) and still within a reasonable budget. I have to say this is the best optometrist I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. Well worth the trip to Springvale and will definitely be back there to purchase contact lenses. I just found out today that I could get my colored contacts $60 cheaper than my previous optometrist! Very happy customer ^^

From the moment we walked in the door, to the history of this business over many years, to the moment we were fitted and walked away, was an experience to remember and pass on. We felt comfortable with the choice of hundreds of funky, modern and extensive range of eyewear. This didn't phase us as we were approached cautiously and our personal care of choices was respected and hence careful decision-making an absolute pleasure and a huge success with comments from family and friends. What a an absolute pleasure with Gloria and Levon. An experience like no other! Of course we will be back and highly recommend them in every aspect of their modern and state of the art facilities to accommodate every person's individual requirements as that of my 88 year old father! I occasionally visit Springvale from the UK and recently when I found myself short of contact lenses, a friend recommended I give Gloria at Eye Society a call. She quickly ascertained what I needed and was able to order them and have them in store within two days. Great email communication. The next time I knew I was going to be in Springvale I simply dropped Gloria a line and without having to give any details again she had my lenses ready and waiting for pickup before I even arrived in Springvale. Very efficient and very friendly; I wish my usual optician in London was half as good!

Eye Society are my #1 optometrist for life! I popped in there today to say hello and get something looked at and they treated me with such respect - when you are customer of theirs once, I tell you with such happiness that they make you feel like a customer for life! They looked after me so well back when I purchased my glasses so long ago, they made sure I was looked after by treating me well, spending whatever time it took to get the right frames - plus they knew the frames I purchased would last - and they were right! They have lasted me this long and they're still going strong! They still look after me even for slight adjustments and ANY questions whatsoever I have - and all done with a smile! A few years ago I went back to Eye Society for Contact Lenses - and I was looked after like I was their number one customer! From what I am reading with many other reviews on google and 'womo', I am finding they certainly have the awesome knack & professional ability of treating every customer with this same 100% respect. That's a true sign of great customer service. They also only have extremely high quality frames - did you know I have little overly-energetic kids that think it's hilarious to jump on me practically on a daily bases - and with my glasses ON! I am proof that their glasses last the test of time and aren't anything like those el' cheapo frames I have heard stories about that are out there lately!!! I've had mine sat on & played with by my kids way too often (trying them on in the morning before I wake up grrrr!!).. and even stood on by my husband (and I tell you he's not on the little side!!!).. and they are still awesome!! - and they're even those rimless ones, you know, the type that are just lenses at the front that look like they don't have any frame!! I'm one BIG happy customer - for life! Thanks Eye Society!!!!!

I am from Singapore who had gone to Melbourne during the December holidays. I never had my eyes tested before, so upon strong recommendations and arrangement through my best friend, I went to Eye Society in Springvale. I have also ended up purchasing two frames because the team is very helpful, patience, attentive and able to fulfill my wants and needs. As I will be home before the glasses were ready for collection, they offered to make all the necessary arrangement to have them posted to Singapore. I was totally impressed and deeply appreciated with their quality service provided.

So I set out to find myself an optometrist seeing as I hadn't had my eyes tested in five years and my vision was irritating me when driving. I decided to try Eye Society seeing as it was local to me and a friend had gone there to get contact lenses. I was warmly greeted and attended to straight away despite the store looking pretty busy. After browsing through the large range of frames, my eyes were tested by the optometrist of the store, Helen. She was very nice and patient with me while thoroughly testing my eyes. Once we finished she taught me how to wear contact lenses aswell and was most helpful as I was really nervous and had never put anything on my eyes like that before. I was most happy with the whole experience and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get there eyes tested!

I am a regular customer at Eye Society and could not be more happy and satisfied with how well I am treated. The staff are amazingly friendly and also very professional and knowledgeable. The services and advice from Levon and Gloria is outstanding and the attention to detail from Helen when she test my eyes is remarkable. I had been searching for a frame that I really liked for ages. One of my friends always raves about Eye Society, so I decided to visit their store. I had never been to an Optometry store like this before. They had a huge and diverse range, unlike anything I'd ever seen (and i've been shopping for a frame for months!) with lots of different styles, designers and brands. I found so many beautiful frames that was in eyewear heaven. I purchased two frames because I decided that I wouldn't wear the same pair of shoes everyday, so why wear the same style of glasses everyday!! The entire team were very helpful and knowledgeable. They explained everything very clearly about my lens and frame choices, and showed me examples of what they were talking about. They gave me the choices but they never pushed the more expensive products on me, which I really appreciated. They even took photos of the different styles to assist me in choosing the nicest style for my face. They were honest and extremely helpful. I felt comfortable throughout the whole experience and appreciate the honesty and advice. The optometrist was patient and made sure that I understood what was happening with my eyes, she spent the time to explain what was causing my vision problems and what I could do to help my eyes with exercises and a healthy diet...I had never had this done in an eye test before. The atmosphere was fun, friendly and made the experience really enjoyable. They were able to decipher my wants and needs and fulfilled them well and truly above and beyond my expectactions. The entire experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Well worth every dollar. I will never go anywhere else and now I know what my friend had been raving about. I would recommend Eye Society without any hesitation.

my first experience at this optometrist, was very pleasing. the service they provided was very efficient in accommodating to my needs and providing me with advice that has been useful in achieving for better vision since. there were many ranges which i usually feel overwhelmed when i am confronted with many choice but with the amazing help and guidance of the staff i was able to choose the best for myself. One staff in particular that i felt very comfortable with and easy to communicate and understand was Helen Higgins who i am grateful to have been served by. I was looking for a new pair of prescription glasses and my friend suggested I visit Eye Society in Springvale. I went this morning and the team were extremely helpful. The range was so extensive that I couldn't choose 1 pair, but ended up buying 2 frames. Thank you to the team for being helpful and patient and giving honest feedback on what the frames really looked like on. I've shopped around for new frames for a while without any success. In visiting the showroom, I can say I will be back on a regular basis to update my frames.

I was currently visiting an Optometrist many kilometers away on a regular basis without any focus on how to best accommodate my deteriorating eyesight. A family friend suggested I make an appointment an see if anything could be done to improve my situation. Not only did I get expert advise on my current situation with my sight, but a solution that works for my lfestyle. The range of frames and service was AMAZING. An added bonus was to revisit my health benefit entitlements which I should have done a long time ago and never did and upon doing so, I have GAINED benefits in not just optical but with other incidentals through a different health fund. I was recommended to this place by a friend and they didn't disappoint. The service was friendly and efficient. I got a very thorough eye test and lots of suggestions for my new glasses, as well as good advice on lenses. They were even happy to stay open late so I could collect them after work.
