When renovating my kitchen I purchased tiles for my splash back from Fashion Tiles. We explained to the salesperson that we were after splashback tiles and he recommended a tile that we liked the look of.

I bought the basic tiles for $27.50/ m2 and it's very simple, nothing fancy. The bottom line is that it's cheap and I got a lot of input from my consultant - Jennine who is very charming and helpful. Especially in deciding the grouting colours, she helped me decide to go for a darker tone of grouting while still highlighting the tile.

It turns out all right when the tiling is done but I don't appreciate her input until I talked to another neighbour who chose a lighter tone for grouting and the colour was uneven (poor job by the labourer) and it looks disgusting. Then only I realized how much hassle and misery I would go through if it wasn't for her thoughtful advice.
