I have recently started attending gym classes at this leisure center, having previously used the Coburg Leisure center. The classes are much, much smaller here- the classes I have been to have typically 6-8 people in them and the instructor is wonderful and very engaging with you. The atmosphere is very friendly, no doubt partially from smaller classes.
The venue is somewhat rundown- and you have to bring your own yoga mat but this is more than made up for by the terrific and friendly staff.
A casual class pass is $10 and there are discounts for buying 10 or 20 or classes are free if you are a member of the gym. They also have classes specially for seniors, and rehabilitation classes. There are concessional discounts for seniors and consession card holders.

A very good centre with lots of facilities. Great swimming pool especially the indoor part. Spa, Sauna and lap pool. Gym is good, and has larger grounds for outdoor activities. Great for the Kids!

My son did swimming lessons there and if he missed a class twice in a term they are meant to send a voucher. He missed classes 4 times in 2 terms and either didn't get a voucher sent and I had to chase it up or he'd get sent a voucher with another persons name on it. My husband asked for a locker once and was told he had to pay for it, sorry, if someone has paid for swimming lessons they should be allowed a free locker. The centre is shabby and needs refurbishment and the pool was dirty and murky at times which wasn't good for first thing in the morning. One time my husband saw a discarded bandaid in the water covered in blood which nobody bothered to pick up. When I took my son out of the centre due to doctor's advice I was advised if I wanted a refund I'd have to put it in writing. After 3 months and 2 phonecalls (where the manager was never available and never bothered to ring back) and another letter, I finally got my refund.
