great Club, great supportive environment for women to train.

Fern wood is an exceptional ladies only gym. The facilities are great. I find the fees to be a little on the expensive side especially when you have a household full of girls. In saying this if I was just on my own the price wouldn't make a difference. Maybe they should offer a better price to families like some of the other gyms. I would recommend the facility as far as a ladies only gym.

We recently purchased a set of Zumba classes at this gym.

It is a female's only gym, with a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The gym itself was very clean, and seemed to have a reasonable amount of equipment.

Staff were friendly, and always greeted when you came in. The gym had a very friendly feel to it. Similarly, the instructors were always pleasant and conversed both before and after classes with their participants. They were very flexible, and willing to tailor the classes (within reason) to the needs of the people in them. I found this great, as it meant they were acting to help the customers, rather than just following a set routine.

Gym staff offered us other services, and membership, but there were no hard sell techniques used.

Given the great atmosphere experienced at this gym, I would definitely return (time permitting!) and recommend them to others wanting to try group fitness classes.
