Easily found on glebe point road, this place is well priced and a real gem with its $13 barramundi with chips. Nice and not overcooked or oily at all. Fresh and tasty,

Consistently outstanding fish (plus other seafood) and chips.

I am a regular customer of Fish on Fire. As something of a connoisseur of chippies across Sydney (and, indeed, worldwide!) I consider Fish on Fire to be up there with the very best.

The seafood is consistently of the highest quality, being both extremely fresh and expertly prepared; the chips are very, very good and I've never been served a duff batch.

Service is friendly and efficient.

Outstanding.

Great food there grilled fish is the best and full of flavor, I've also had their fish burgers which are nice and topped with tartare sauce and lettuce, grilled fish n chips start from $10, great food and very cheap for great quality food.

Approximate cost: $10

Such a nice little cafe/restaurant. The quality and freshness of seafood is consistant and always makes for a great meal. It is unfortunate that it has been widely discovered because its always so loud and crowded- other than that- perfect dining experience

Nice atmosphere- quality food- efficient staff. Though a Very small and squashy dining area- since located near a busy intersection it can be loud. Otherwise, cool ambience-features band posters on walls which brings a youth element to it.

Approximate cost: $10-20

If your looking for nicely cooked seafood in the city or inner-city, fish on fire is just about the best place to go. The owner and workers are hospitable, the food is prepared and served quickly, just be weary parking spots are limited at times - so be prepared to look around. Parking officers can be seen to frequent the place regularly ;)

The best chips ever! Great value fish and chips. Just a small shop front so not one for 'ambience' but for a quick bite or for take away it's perfect. As this place is just around the corner from our office I don't think I'll be going anywhere else when I feel like fish and chips!

Agree this is a top spot for fish and chips (and salad, if that's your thing). It's not the kind of bulk fish and chip shop where you get it wrapped in paper, but more of a set meal place. I've had the fish burger about 3 times and it's always delicious, with great bread, fish fillet, and salad. The service style is basic, but does the job. The eating area is pretty good for a quick lunch, where you can read a magazine and watch the passers by on Glebe Point Road.

Approximate cost: $7-12

The best fish and chips shop in Glebe by far. Amazing value for money, fresh and tasty food, friendly service, quick and easy, open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
