We brought our bunny here the other night and they were really good with him.
The vet was really good, explaining everything to us, diagnosing him with a concussion (great news as we were told by other clinics he sounded like he had calici)
He gave bun an anti inflammatory for the pain and sent us home with some food to give him as he had difficulty eating.

Also, the girls at reception (Nicole and Sam) were so lovely and helpful.

The clinic is very clean and the prices are good too.
Decided that this will be our family vet from now on.

Consultation $69
Anti inflammatory $37
Food $20

Approximate cost: $126

The ultimate vet service with a price tag to match. Whilst I spend a lot on my fluffy creatures I have long since transferred from here to another animal hospital. The service and detail to your pet is wonderful but being situated in this area they can afford high charges and I cannot. Saying this they saved the life of my kitten and did let me pay off the cost.

I have been taking my cats to Fitzroy since 2001 and have always had a great experience. The staff feel like family and make my cats feel safe and loved. We also use the cattery facilities and I wouldn't consider trusting my cats anyone else!

Have been taking our dog here since he was a puppy. Friendly staff, great service. Definitely a clinic that actually cares about your pet, and a handy inner city location too.

I have been taking my pet here for the past 4 years and have found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. You can see they genuinely care for the pets who visit. My dog has some mental heath issues and feel our vet goes above and beyond to help and offer ideas that may assist. Only downside is the price being a bit high but I guess you get what you pay for.

Sounds like a great place. Always good to know of a trusted place to take your animals, where they care as much as you do. Thanks for the review.

I love my dog as many other pet owners do.
His name is Gus and he's a big part of my life.
He's getting older and being a boxer is prone to getting lumps and injuries.

Gus had surgery yesterday to remove a couple of growths and have an ex-ray. In the 18 hrs since collecting him, the Fitz Vet crew have called twice to see how he's doing.
My doctor and dentist don't provide that kind of care.

They are not the cheapest vet, in fact they are relatively pricey but with that level of care for Gus I'm not concerned about paying a few extra dollars.

I have used this vet for about 4 years for our two Burmese cats. Service is always friendly, practical advice, good follow-up and reminder service. Separate waiting areas for cats and dogs is appreciated by cat owners. Long opening hours.
