This Sydney free walking tour is a must for the first time visitors. The tours start everyday at 10:30am from Archibald Fountain in Hyde Park. There brochure says Walk, with local guides who are experts in history, love their city and enjoy sharing their favorite places with you. This is so true our guide was great and showed an interest and knowledge in places she showed us. We saw over 20 locations along with descriptions, this allowed us to go back to the ones we wants to spend more time at. It saved a lot of time trying to find these places on our own or figuring out which ones we wanted to see more of. You give the guide what you think it was worth to you as little or as much as you feel. We definitely think the tour was worth it and showed our gratitude.

I was looking online for some walking tours of Sydney and found their www.freetourssydney.com.au I have never tried free walking tours before, but reviews were great and I decided to give it a go. They start tours from the place where the history began - the First Fleet Park, the Rocks at 10.30am and 2.30pm Everyday.
The tour was excellent. The tour guide has shown us the best Sydney can offer explaining the history behind places and gave a lot of useful advises. She also did it in an interesting and fun way. Highly recommended to everyone.
