Have been here for lunch and coffee - surprisingly not desert! The service is very attentive and there is plenty to choose from on the tapas menu. We had the share plate which was our choice of baby quid and the pork belly and the goats cheese and tarragon croquettes which were all satisfactory.

This cafe gives a whole new meaning to "Life is short. Eat dessert first." Tucked away in the Emporium precinct of the Valley they specialise in the most amazing desserts. If you only need one course then make it dessert. On my last visit I tried chocolate hazelnut torte. It was divine. Others at my table had white chocolate raspberry brioche dumplings, passion fruit curd tart and berry sundae. They all looked equally divine and I can't wait to try them all. If you are looking for an exceptional dessert dining experience in Brisbane then this is definitely the place.

This is a great place to go if you have a sweet tooth. Freestyle Tout have an amazing dessert menu. We have been a few times now (always form dessert) with a friend who is vegan. Each week they offer a vegan special as well as the menu option which makes dining out so easy for us as a group. It's a perfect special occasion venue. We tend to go mid-late afternoon or Sunday to avoid the busiest weekend times.

Adore this place ,just dnt go on thurs fri or sat nights and not expect a fair wait, the line is out the door. Exquisite desserts esp the brioche that i cant keep away from with a jug of chocolate to pour over the brioche accompanied by fresh raspberries and vanilla bean ice cream, my mouths watering already! Brilliant shakes, hot meals. Very comfy inside with lounges and pilows against the walls. Outside is winter is charming with supplied light knee blankets and heaters on. Does get very busy and noisy, outside is better for intimacy lol. The wait staff are very friendly and always charming and willing to answer or find out the answers for your q's . A friend had a weird drink one night made on palm sugar and condensed milk but she did enjoy it. Love the place and will keep on returning

I love that I was able to phone ahead so my beef burger was ready when I got there! It was juicy and the onion jam was a really nice touch. Chips were nice and crunchy. It was hot, too, so it hadn't been waiting around.

Always a great place to kill a chocolate fix. The brownie is my fav, which i order every second time i think! The chocolate dumplings are also out of this world. Rich! Delicious! Amazing! Most desserts i think should be shared as they are decadent. Prices are high, which is always another good reason to share :-)

Freestyle was a first and unique experience for me last night (even though I was informed by the lovely wife that she'd 'been here a few times before!!!). Desserts are the signature of this establishment, and fine desserts they are. Predominantly chocolate - everywhere - there was no wonder that there was a lineup for this place upon oure arrival. The dumplings with chocolate sauce were quite unbelievable - highly recommended. The unbelievable taste matched the price however - these guys know what they can charge and the location is very good.

This place is just Devine. I've lived in Brisbane for years and had never heard of it until a work gathering. Wow wow wow couldn't believe people were saying you just go for the desserts. Its not until we arrived that I understood how this place works. Their desserts actually look like what you see in fancy magazines. I was just in awe for a while watching the waiters deliver the desserts, have never seen such presentation. We have been back for a main meal AND dessert and now go regularly. They are famous for their desserts but have main meals and the best bar and cocktails. Great atmosphere. Even if you try this place only once. And make a booking as if you don't, you line up on weekends just to get a table. Terribly popular for tourists just to say they've been. Yum yum

We visited this place last Saturday night and I was so impressed with their menu selection. They had a great variety of food including quite a few seafood tapas. They also make some delicious looking cocktails that they sell in 1L jugs which looks like alot of fun on a night out. But their real shining star is their deserts. They have amazing deserts that are real works of art. You can't help but double take every time the waiters walk out with all the different deserts displayed so beautifully on the plate. Pretty reasonably priced too considering half an hour earlier I had paid $11 for a terrible creme brulee in another restaurant in the same centre. I will definitly be coming back to this restaurant very soon.

I used to like it here

My mum and sisters took me here for my hens night as I was pregnant at the time and obviously didn't want to go out drinking. We never do anything like this so it was fantastic to try something new. My sister and I shared a huge sundae and it was so deliscious but between the two of us we couldn't even finish it! There was a huge line up to get in and it was very busy because it was halloween as well. The staff were very attentive though and kept everyone in the line updated on what was going on and offered lollies and things to everyone in line. I have wanted to go back but just haven't made it there yet!!

My friends and I regularly come here for dessert if we happen to be in the area - nice decor, fabulous presentation and delicious yummy desserts! One time I came with friends during afternoon tea time and decided to try one of their savoury main dishes - i picked an open-grilled chicken sandwich - and it did not disappoint.

Stopped into Freestyle for dessert, amazing! Between our group of 4 we tried the Spanish Churros, a taste of Queensland (macadamia slice, macadamia ice cream & caramel sauce), sticky date pudding & chocolate walnut brownie. All dishes were really well presented, huge servings and all tasted so good. Definitely worth a try next time you are craving something sweet.

Argh!! I LOVE Freestyle!! If you're looking for a dessert fix, look no further. Parking can be a problem if it's bang on meal time as there are several other restaurants in the same location but at least parking is free which is excellent for such a central address.

Sure, the desserts are expensive at around $15 but you can load up and walk away very happy (or guilt-ridden!!) for your money. I usually get the triple scoop sundae with fudge sauce and marshmallows but you have to try the sugar donuts!!

Freestyle also do delicious meals; try them!

Even if you go to another restaurant for dinner, I highly recommend moving on here for dessert!

Update: Freestyle charged me $1 PER SCOOP to change the flavours of ice cream in my sundae. That added an extra $2 to the already expensive $15.90 price tag for a dessert which amounts to 3 scoops of ice cream, a marshmallow, a strawberry, a spoonful of fudge sauce, some whipped cream and a chocolate sail plonked on top. Charging $15.90 for this unskilled creation, the same price as for some of the chef-created delights is already ridiculous but to then expect me to pay $2 extra, not for any extra ingredients but to lean a little further to the left in the ice cream cabinet to get the flavours I wanted, is unjustifiable. I'd like to revoke the stars in my review. End rant.

My husband and I love sweets, and this place is like a heaven for us. I always get a free style sundae, and he gets sticky date pudding. They are always good!
Some people says its over priced, but I think for what you get it's reasonable.

If you are desert lover, this place is a must go!

I recently headed here with two girlfriends for lunch. We had purchased Scoopons for a dessert and pizza/salad.

The food was great and I loved the dessert however the service was a big let down. Our waiter was rude to us when we presented our coupons- he actually told us that we were NOT ALLOWED to share food. What restaurant does not allow sharing food?

I was disappointed in this unfriendly treatment and the uptight attitude of staff towards paying customers. We shared each others desserts anyway - as a bunch of friends dining together do.

I frequently head to Freestyle Tout for Dessert, the food is so delicious. Service is exceptional. The only down fall is on a Fri or Sat night the parking can be an issue. I love the Death by Lindt Chocolate, also the ever changing menu.

It's a little more pricey now than the good old days of the original Rosalie store, but a fantastic place for a treat. Bring your appetite or share with a friend. On busy nights you'll need to queue but worth the wait.

Not only does Freestyles do fantastic deserts, but they also do a great breakfast as well. My fiance was more than happy with his breakky and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. I still love the deserts the most though, I'm slowly working my way through them all. They are all beautifully presented, give it a try!! Oh, I think they have opened one in West End as well!

This dessert is absolutely incredible! If you have a sweet tooth you absolutely must go here! I have recommended it to all of my friends! My partner had the sticky date pudding and I had the 'A Little Bit of Queensland'. They were both outstanding and it was definitely the best sticky date I've ever tasted! The staff were very friendly as well and there was a very good vibe!
