Terrible customer service cant even send what was ordered and wants to send back their item at your cost after you pay for delivery of the wrong item, will shop locally at a shop with a door even if it means paying more.

Pathetic online shopping experience and total lack of customer service. After inordinate period of time waiting for order to be fulfilled I rang the retailer; staff member could not explain reason for delay but undertook to "ring me back" with the answer. No call back, no order...nothing! Now have to turn to Fair Trading NSW to try and get resolution.

Approximate cost: $131

They don't know how to send items to the correct address. Will not respond to emails and refuse to acknowledge that they sent the item to the incorrect address. Dealing with PayPal to get my money back.

Approximate cost: $125

Frontline hobbies have a HUGE, and I mean HUGE range of things, there is something there to suit everyone! the customer service is wonderfull, the only bad point is that they are quite overpriced, however one of the only places to get the stuff that they stock, so you dont really have a choice :/ However overall, a great store!

They have a huge range of hobby items for both male / female young and old. My husband has purchased his big boy toys from here for many many years. We get in the store and i don't see him for ages. He has purchased many petrol remote control cars and helicopters. They also have gift vouchers for those that aren't sure on what to buy someone for a gift. They can also order in spare parts for remote operated items.

Probably the best hobby shop in Newcastle. I bought a really nice chess set here for a very reasonable price and I am very happy with the quality. There are entire aisles dedicates to hobby toys for kids of all ages and I'm sure I will go back one day and purchase someday.
The staff were very friendly and I recommend you take a look, you'll never know what you'll find in this store!

This all ages store has collectibles ranging from model cars, bikes and trains, to remote control automobiles to board games. Prices for everything are quite reasonable and the entire store can appeal to anyone with an interest in fun. Great store and the staff do a great job on meet the needs of their customers.

I remember when this was business was 'Mainly Military' in King St, then expanded to Wolfe/Hunter St, before the current site they moved to in the late 80s. It has further expanded into other shops, which shows how successful they are. Once upon a time you would travel to Sydney, now you don't. This is one of the few shops that provide a reason to venture into Newcastle City.
