This place is great in so many ways fresh produce, good value and close to home for me anyway. There are always great specials going on and you can get quite allot of fruit and veg with out spending heaps. It's true that there are some fruit and veg that would not be accepted in the supermarket but there is wax and goodness knows what on supermarket fruit and veg.

For a discounted fresh fruit grocer its preety good.... price wise, it has the basics for everyday use, dont go expecting the best looking fruit and veg, or all the fancy ones, its everyday farm seconds at a good price. Supporting local aussie farmers by selking what the supermarkets wont.
The place smells funny, needs a damn good clean, and the people on the regesters need to smile.
But for the price you pay, a dollar saved is a dollar earned.

EXCELLENT QUALITY WITH LOADS OF FRUIT AND VEGIES TO CHOOSE FROM. ALL FOOD STOCKED IS FRESH AND HAS A LONG SHELF LIFE. VERY BUSY SHOP AT TIMES SO IT CAN BE HARD TO GET AROUND. I ALWAYS NOTICE A HUGE SAVING ON MY GROCERY BILL.

When we go there and buy our fruit and vegies we can always find some great specials. Really enjoy the frshness of the Pink Lady Apples for me and the Granny Smith Apples for my wife. Have never had food that goes off quick.

They have so many vegetables and fruit varieties available. Better still are the prices- way down. The quality is generally, very good. and there is parking on and off road. We now make this a regular visit.

$15 gets me a green shopping bag full of fruits and vegetables! So much cheaper than the supermarkets, they have great specials like punnets of strawberries for .99c and 1kg bags of carrots for .49c! The fruit and vegies are super fresh but I find that they don't last as long as supermarket vegies - maybe because they don't have the preservatives that supermarkets do? Anyway, I would highly recommend to anyone in the Bendigo area.

Approximate cost: $15
