I recently applied for a "No Credit Check Loan" through Fundo Loan, drawn by their website headlines and search results. As the product name suggests, I was under the impression that my credit wouldn't be checked. However, just a day after applying, I found that they performed a hard search on my credit file, causing my credit score to drop by 60 points instantly.

When I approached Fundo Loan about this, they mentioned that while they do advertise "No Credit Check loans", they retain the right to perform a credit check. This key detail, in my opinion, was not made explicitly clear, especially given the product's name.

From my research, I've noticed I'm not alone in this experience. Several others seem to have faced the same unexpected credit check after applying for this particular loan product.

While Fundo Loan has agreed to remove the inquiry from my credit report as a goodwill gesture, the whole situation was stressful and misleading. I urge potential customers to read all the terms carefully and perhaps even directly ask Fundo Loan about their practices before applying. The product name, in this case, may not represent the actual process.

Dont let this kind of tricky and heartless business get away, they sent me an email saying i learned a lesson by not reading the contract properly, they need to have some sort of consequences.

Fundo took money after loan fully paid, have tried to make contact 4 times to get the money back that they shouldnt of taken from me now it's been overpaid and they won't make contact

They have been there every time I have needed a loan, Fundo very easy and quick to apply for a loan

They said no credit check but they do without your consent and leave hard enquiry on your account . Be careful .

Don't waste your time. They make no professional sense

Fundo were constantly having issues on their end where they requested for bank details of mine that should NEVER be requested, such as my login details, and then proceeded to get my account locked for detection of fraudulent behaviour.

They promise everywhere on their website to deliver funds within 60min-up to 2 hours, and this was promised to me more than once too. After 4 days of being jerked around by this company I withdrew my application. You have to call them to do this - there is no option on their website, or through their very useless e-chat 'service'.

I was consistently lied to on the phone and everything from my internet connection to my bank was blamed for the ongoing issues. Fundo refused to take any responsibility and after promising many times to keep me in the loop and follow up, all I got was radio silence from them, it was always me that followed up.

In short, the service they promise cannot be delivered and the exact financial situation I was trying to avoid came to pass anyway, at which point I called them to cancel the loan application.

Never do business with these people. They are scammers and frauds.

Had previous loans, all approved. Financial situation hadn't changed. Made me jump through hoops for application. They never got back to me unless I kept calling. Then never contacted me with outcome.

Have had 3 loans with fundo each time has taken longer then 1 hour to approve and funds where NOT deposit on same day even though my bank had processed other payments. Even though I am a returning customer they keep asking for my details. My current SAME DAY LOAN has been pending approval for over 5 days. There have been 2 incidents where funds were taken from my account on the wrong days and double payments taken out. Customer service on phone was friendly and helpful but no compensation for their mishaps that left me out of pocket. Approach this company with extreme caution.

Misleading company, direct debit your account before your actual payday and do not reward you for being a good customer. Stay clear of this company.
