A nice little play centre and definitely one of the better one for the little kids. This is a regular spot for my mother's group Mums and they often have good specials and offers if you are going out of "Peak" times. I found my 8 year old wasn't really fussed with the place and preferred the bigger play centres, but my younger kids loved it! The coffee was nice and served quickly. It has a lovely friendly atmosphere!

Great place to take kids. Can sit and enjoy coffee and always have a close view of them. Nice coffee, tummy food and staff are friendly.

I love Funkee Monkees! It's such a great place to take young kids - the staff are lovely, the play equipment well suited for the under 5s, and the coffee and muffin combo is fantastic! A lot of playcentres are let down by the bad food situation, but these guys have great food for the parents as well as the kids. I also really like the running tab that you pay at the end of your visit - much easier. The venue is smaller than most but I find this works in your favour, as you don't have to constantly get up and find your kids - you can always see them from where you're sitting.

Super friendly and helpful family run business! Great smaller play centre without the worry of keeping your under twos safe from bigger kids running a muck. Free wifi, had a great time and recommend it to all my mummy friends

We held our daughters first birthday party here in July 2013. I cannot say enough good things about Funkee Monkeys. Organizing the party with the staff was easy and stress free, the day was stress free, all the food came out exactly on time. Nothing went wrong and everyone (ages from 1 to 65) had a great day. My one year old had her own little area to play in while the bigger kids ran over the play structure.
I highly recommend Funkee Monkeys as a birthday party venue !!

Love taking my children to Funkee Monkees. They have a good time, I have a good time. Price is very affordable for 2 children, and the food is very good. Go at least once a month if not more!!!

I was told about Funkee Monkees by one of the women from daycare. She said that FM was great value for money with lots of activities for the little ones to enjoy-and she was right!
When we first started our adventure, Connor was a little unsure about the jungle jim due to it's large size, but once he went down the spiralling slide and had explored all the different rooms I couldn't get him off.
The staff were really nice and cheerful and made a beautiful hot choclate. The food cabinet had a nice variety of coffee shop/cafe style foods (muffins, cheesecakes etc) as well as yoghurts and custards. I noticed they are a cafe with the full compliment of sandwichs and nachos etc, but I have not tried at this stage.
I paid entry fee, hot chocolate, drinks for Connor and some snacks for around $20-good value. I spend more at the cinemas easily and I don't get to hear the movie.I enjoyed the day so much I enquired about prepaid multit-visit discounts and signed up straight away.
The play equipment was in good condition bar minor wear and tear as you would expect in any play centre. The smaller space has been well utilised with an area for under twos, as well as a small enclosure for the kids to ride in/on bikes. plenty of seating for adults with only one entry/exit - good for security. Overall quite happy with experience.

Had an excellent time. Staff was very lovely and often saw them smile and giggle to each other. Shows they are having lots of fun and it adds to the atmosphere. A look at the entry prices and food prices would be advised. Thanks.
