Two months ago I booked this service for my relocation from NSW to QLD. On 11/09/17 they arrived at my house with a truck covered in graffiti! Two drivers with no formal clothing as depicted in their pictures on the website. The truck was booked for two more jobs and I was told I couldn't get more space because of that. Driver 1 unloads half my things and leaves. A local truck arrives at my house later that evening to collect my items and to take it to their "storage" facilities. After loading the things left by driver 1 taking 45 minutes; driver 2 leaves and I get a phone call to say they were there for 3 hours and I needed to pay $350! What's worse is, they stored my things at their depot/office. Driver 1 calls me on 12/09/17 to say he'd be arriving at 4pm. At 4pm driver 1 calls again to say that the RMS has fined him for driving a defective truck and that there were multiple safety road worthy issues with his truck and is issued with license suspensio n as well as infringement notice for the rectification to the truck! He finally arrives at 8.30pm and leaves around midnight. But not before dropping my washing machine; denting my wall; breaking some plates and dropping another customers items! Now we get to 16/09/17 and driver 3 arrives with the rest of my possessions. Which by the way were the bases to all four our beds... one item after the next after the next and the next are damaged! Slats are missing from the bases. My expensive headboard has been scratched and looks like it was done on purpose. My bedside table has the bottom broken. My daughter's base support has been snapped into two pieces. My guest bedroom base was broken beyond fixing. And my mirror cabinet totally dismantled. But worst is the fact that my glass white dining table has been broken which is a classic piece of furniture! And just as I thought it could not get worse than that... they fraudulently stored my credit card details including the CVV number and deducted a whopping $890 from my account after I told them I was not prepared to accept that they would not commit to refund me for the damage. A total of $4000 later and I have no bases to put my mattresses on; broken furniture and washing machine; no money and a Fair Trading complaint pending. Never in all my 43 years have I ever dealt with a group of liars, untrustworthy and thieves such as this group. It is illegal for any company to store or save your card details including the CVV. This means that they could access anyone's information without authority and unbeknownst to you this could happen to anyone. As for all my patience, my forgiveness and understanding, my ignorance and willingness to save a penny or two; that has cost me much more because of FRS Removals
My husband and I recently booked a packing service and delivery from Sydney to Melbourne through FRS. Our packing service seemed to be done in an efficient manner. Our pick up service was meant to go ahead on a Sunday morning but no-one came or called so all we could do was call an unattended line and leave messages. We understand that there are sometimes date changes with moves but were very surprised and disappointed not to have been contacted by anyone to explain the situation. As a result, we waited at home all day (with our newborn) and assumed by 4pm that no-one was coming.
After several phone calls on the Monday morning, FRS were able to confirm that a truck was coming and they arrived in the late morning. The removalists did a good job at each end of the delivery.
However, we have to express frustration again at the careless packing job done. We hired packers for their expertise in carefully wrapping and placing items to prevent breakages. Below is a list of broken items:
Cheese plate
Salad bowl
Wine decanter
Williams Sonoma plate
Lamp shade
Bottle of vermouth
It seemed like there was an inconsistent standard of packing in this job. Most of the glassware and crystal were well packed and arrived without any breakages. But other boxes were carelessly packed, where items appeared to be thrown in regardless of shape or weight.
Also, a number of items leaked because of the way they were packed, including sesame oil and balsamic vinegar.
In total, we paid around $3000 for this move and we were expecting a much higher level of professionalism from FRS. On top of all this, no-one has contacted us to follow up on our complaints.

moving house is not my favorite , the FRS definitly make it a lot easier ,i understand if not being charged an hourly rate they urge customers to double check the accuracey of cubic meters which i totally understood apparantly some customers book certain cubics but end up having more which is not covenient for every one especially if the truck is fully booked , glad i was informed about that happy to have had people know what they doing
I would NOT recommend FRS Removals as they would have to be the WORST removalists I have ever used!!!! The move started off ok until the drop off! When starting to unload my sons guitar effects pedals fell off the truck & when my mum commented about it their reaction was like "it'll be ok". They also haphazardly stacked boxes & it was like they threw the bags, some boxes also looked like they had been thrown! They had no care of how my belongings were stored when unloading. The way they stored/stacked the boxes etc was very unprofessional, I could've done better myself!!!! When my mum made a complaint they offered a measly $100 for the damage to the effects pedal caused when falling from the truck.....I'm still waiting for it!!! We also took photos but no comment about the way they were haphazardly stacked. They also spoke in their own language which my mum thought was very rude as they could've been saying anything!
Also after each email response they commented that they were aiming at 10/10 for customer service, I would give them -10/10!!!

Just noticed that there are dents on my fridge which is just over 12 months old & this was the ONLY move!!!!! . We also had a call from them about a month ago to try to make it better, they reckon that they had transferred $100 into my account which I never received. We were also told that the 2 men had been sacked, probably another lie!!!! My mum tried to get them to compensate 1/2 of what the cost was & they were going to check, this was the last we have heard from them. If I have to purchase a new fridge sooner than what I have to I will be extremely pissed off !!!!!

For you're own safety please DO NOT USE THESE REMOVALISTS. These removalists physically assaulted me with a heavy tub and threatened to punch me in the face. I am a woman and was alone. I was forced to call the police while they stole my furniture.
The offence is currently under police investigation. I had to take this company to the NSW Civil tribunal to get my stuff back after I refused to pay them double the agreed amount.
I could go on but in brief:
A two day delay in pick up
I was told there was no room on the truck (there was)
I was told my stuff was 5 cubic metres more than stipulated (even after it was measured with a laser volume tool by a qualified builder friend of mine)
no wrapping or protection
general appalling rude and bullying attitude
culminating in assault
PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE REMOVALISTS.

Such a disgrace doing business with these incompetent people. PLEASE don't get fooled and give them your business. They initially give me a cheap quote to win the job. Be ware of their term and conditions, for example they charge me on top of the quoted price a $99 per 1/2 hour fee starting from find parking. (yes even before they park the truck they will start the charging), if my loading and unloading takes about 4 hours each that means $1600 on top of the quoted price. Also beware the Term that They will charge $100 per cubic meter (this is space for a washing machine) so if you exceed this limit, I am better off throwing my stuff to the garbage and buy again, as most stuff wont worth this much. They ask you to give credit card authorization never give that to them , i did give them credit card number and i was charged the full amount without providing any service saying that they cant park the truck in-front of my complex. complete false statement as other removalist i had to use had no problem doing this job at all.
On the move day they came in and told me that there is no space to park the truck and therefore they can't do the job and forcefully asked me to signed the invoice saying "I agree to cancel this job and i agree to charge in full", they charged my credit card in full amount and left without doing anything. Also On the initial discussion over the phone they agree to charge $300 as the deposit but when the bpoint email came in they charged $540, then i asked where is the booking confirmation ? , they send me full list of "Term and Conditions" asking me "Please reply Yes to agree" .
On the move day they charge me on the full amount again without my authority again bullying me to sign the invoice "Customer agree to pay in full and customer agree to cancel the job".
In order to resolve the issue i called suzi (Sales agent who did the booking) 3-4 times she said complaint department will call me back, but they never called me for any clarification or resolution at all, now its about 10 days but i guess they are not interested in negotiations with the customers since they already stolen the money from me.

I not that you did not comment on the $99 per half hour as you tried to mislead the viewers i thing you owe them an apology may be you should have shown it as you showed your contract terms , that what i have said contracts have terms and conditions you need to understand them and read them , for example more than ten meters walk i think this would apply if you on a back load paying agreed flat rate and they come to you you at the very back of some awkward area ,also if you book 20 cubic and you lied to them off course they will charge you extra

FRS Removalists provided a terrible move from Sydney to Melbourne in 2016. They quoted me for 25 cubic meters, which I had confirmed by other companies who came and did a sight inventory at my house. When the men arrived they came into my house and immediately upped the price, saying I had 30 cubic meters and that I had to pay an extra $100 per cubic meter PLUS GST. They then said they had another job and left, coming back at 5.30pm in the afternoon. When they had packed half the truck they started telling me that I had 35 cubic meters, then 40 and I would have to pay more. As half my furniture was already on the truck what was I supposed to do. When I said this was unreasonable they said they didn't want to put my piano on the truck. They also said I had to leave other things behind (which was impossible as I was moving out and could not leave things behind!). They made me give my children's bikes to neighbours. In the end I felt so pressured and stressed I had to agree to paying more. At the other end, the men called me at 10pm at night and wanted to know if they could come to unload. I said no, as I am a single mother with two small children who were asleep. The men then came in the morning at around 7am. They arrived with only half my furniture. The rest had been left in Sydney somewhere in 'storage'. The mattresses were all wet; and they literally threw my belongings into one front room. Lights and pictures were smashed. Nothing had been packed properly and boxes marked fragile were underneath heavy book boxes. I realised part of their scam was to separate draws from shelves and then pack separately - therefore charging for the space of the draws and the space of the casing. Again, I felt helpless - half my furniture was missing including my 100 year old piano, and if I complained what if they did not come back with the rest? When I rang the company and told them what had happened they did absolutely nothing. They told me management would call me but he did not. A week later two different men arrived with the rest - I was charged $1100 more than the original quote. It was a total shake-down. More paintings arrived with smashed glass, and there was no recourse. Also - they say they are a backloading company - but not really; they are just taking as many jobs as they can from anywhere. These people are NOT professional movers in my opinion, they do NOT take care of people's belongings, and from what I have read of other reviews they are shaking people down for extra money in circumstances where you can not do anything about it. Awful, just awful.
The point is that I didn't have more cubic meters they just said I did. They separated draws from cupboards and then charged for twice the space. See other reviews - it seems like they do the same thing over and over. Some people have taken them to Court. It was the worst move of my life, and with two small children, it was hell. Many of our things are smashed and damaged, they made me give our bikes away, and it felt like a total scam. I have backloaded before and it was by no means like this.

The draws were just an example of how they up the space... At the end of the day the whole thing was awful, and many of my things are broken or damaged; I was overcharged, and they did nothing when I complained. Thanks for all your comments, but nothing is going to change that.
Probably one of the most disgusting and rude companies I had to deal with in Australia. From the sales representatives to management They were both ignorant and disrespectful. They said all the good things to make me go with them but once I paid for the deposit, they changed the agreements we had over the phone/SMS. They lied to me, they avoided me, they hung up the phone on me and they talked over me.Seriously, I have NEVER ever seen anything like this before. DO NOT get this company if you need help!!! I had so many problems, they made my experience a nightmare. Moving is already complicated and they made it even worse for me.
i personally used them they were wonderful ,what you need to do guys is to read your contracts right i did , then you would know what you entitled to , you can not take things in good faith ,i think if you read your contracts right you would understand most of the things you disgruntled with .
Glad u had a good experience. I didn't. The things was their offer and the change that happened after the deposit was done.
They still one of the worse companies I had to deal with.

gaiseg, if you think just because you agree to a contract they can do anything you are completely why these people are still running this company. I already talked to the NSW fair trading and its very clear that you can take to them to the cleaners with consumer protection laws in Australia, unless you provide a service you cant charge the customer for any reason. (even if its in the contract or terms and conditions). I already filed the case with NSW fair trading, i am posting behalf of people like you who thinks just because you agree to terms or contact that doest mean service provider can RIP you off ,,, at least not in Australia.. (may be in Lebanese :) but not here mate ..!)

Don't use this business. They were not transparent. They made a quote and then I paid a deposit. After this I received an email which identified that I needed an upgrade even though I thought I had already discussed this. The problem is they already had my deposit and I was stuck with them. Very stressful. Then they must have dinged every piece of furniture or bent very metal fitting on my stuff. I had no redress as they wanted to be paid in cash or cheque immediately. Again I say, not professional and stressful process.

I understand schedules and things happen, but my original pick up was scheduled for Thursday 30th June between 3-6pm, Furniture Removalist Services did not arrive until 6.45pm
I had to reschedule my flights due to the late arrival, which was fine.
I wanted to take my couch and he charged an extra $300+GST, which was not an additional 3 cubic metres, but I did not want to wait any longer so went along with it.
I only flew down to Sydney overnight as I was told it would be next day delivery, Friday comes, Saturday comes, finally Sunday comes after constant chasing and excuses and phone calls and waiting around they delivered yesterday, Sunday 3rd July @ 1.30pm. They advised they had busted tire, and was hard to change a tyre with it being full of furniture.
I’ve moved quite a few times now for work, and have never had such a stressful experience where theres no communication or professionalism.
Only to find when they delivered my new bed frame & mattress that supposed to be wrapped in blankets as they where in storage as they where only a few weeks old to find them dragged, scratched and chucks missing.
Chasing them for over a month for compensation, has been a painful and timely process which has now resulted in legal and court action as they’re only willing to pay $250 for damages when I paid $890. At first they only offered $100 compensation.
They’re offer of the below is a joke and false. They DID NOT offer me any of the following.
This includes the following:
· Goods in transit insurance up to $50,000
· Public liability insurance up to $5,000,000
· FREE protective shrink wrapping of Mattresses - Saving you $50
· FREE packing materials on premium jobs - 25 boxes, 2.5kg butcher paper + tape
· Fleet of 16 trucks - and largest truck up to 80 cubic meters
· 24 - 48 hour delivery
· No double handling - door to door service
They then accused me of moving items, when I paid them to move my furniture, not me or my mother. I only helped with boxes only, 1 man in truck 1 man shifting furniture, It was not my job nor could I lift these heavy pieces.
I only discovered the damage when they delivered the furniture into my apartment ini Sydney, the $100 compensation is not a reasonable offer for compensation, as they mattress and furniture are over $7,000.
I’m now going to have to find another company to take my furniture away to be repaired and be without a bed while this matter is resolved.

From the wonderful Laila on the phone to the amazing Ghassan and his removalist crew, everything was great. Despite having to unload the truck in 40x of horrendous heat they were friendly professional and polite. It was a pleasure to have FRS move my precious possessions and God knows I was stressed to high heaven as I'd had a terrible terrible buying experience from banks that didn't reply, brokers that didn't reply and every other purchasing horror possible : I lost 6kgs in stress BUT the bright point was FRS believe me. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Office ladies were very helpful with my questions. Move guys were good as well. Everything went smooth and although they were late they made up for it with their moving our furniture in time.
Wow- Really impressed with the professional team that showed up to do my move. Was a little worried after reading some reviews but the more I looked into removals I realised that all companies had negative reviews so I thought I'd make my decision after speaking to the companies. I spoke to 3 of the million that sent me quotes, FRS being one of them and found the office staff very efficient, knowledgeable and they offered me great advice to try and help me save money on my difficult move. On the day of my move it was extremely hot, the team that showed up had a 100 meter walk to the truck to contend with at my pick up address and 40 steps at the drop off. Danny, Mo and Harry arrived 15 minutes early and worked right the way through. /the moved really quickly took great care of my items wrapping everything in blankets and wrapping my mattresses as promised. The only time they stopped to rest when I insisted on them having lunch.
i have moved shorter distances with easier access then I had in these two properties and paid far more then this move cost me. Not only that I have had absolutely horrible experiences with removals in the past making me very cautious and nervous. After dealing with FRS and having a smooth move from beginning to end I can honestly say I would not use any other removals now that I have found these guys.
I would highly recommend this team of PROFESSIONALS.

I have moved in excess of 17 times in the past having to relocate frequently for work and I will never again use another removalist to do my move. from the time of booking I thought it was a little too easy but I was very comfortable so I went ahead and booked. on the day of my move I found the guys (Mo and Bill) to be extremely friendly, efficient and polite. they took care in wrapping my items, showed up on time and no request was too much. Being totally incapable of assembling and dismantling my furniture it was a huge relief when the guys did it for me.
I would highly recommend this team of professionals. I have already passed there information onto my sister who is moving interstate with them next week.
Highly reccomend. Very professional and efficient from the initial contact for a quote to the delivery of our furniture. Would certainly use again.

I wish to thank FRS (Steve and Nesty) for the professional job they did in moving my mother's furniture from Sydney to Queanbeyan near Canberra. They arrived on time (early in fact), were polite, cheerful, hard working, professional and careful of the items they moved especially antique furniture. They arrived on time in Queanbeyan at the delivery address and again handled all items carefully and respectfully. We were pleased and would be happy to recommend them and FRS.

The three people Khalid, Samad and Nasir who came to our place to shift our furniture were also very nice.
Very good and thorough professionals. They knew exactly what they were doing.
The shifting of our TV sets and L shaped lounge was perfectly handled. Our steel cupboards were heavy and took a very long time to be taken to the lower level , as the staircase was narrow and somewhat spiral, but they took utmost care and were not at all grumpy.
I doubt if any other people would have been able to do this tough task.
Rather, I am very sure that. other boys from other removalists, would not have been able to shift the cupboards on the lower level.
They would have flatly said that, it is not possible to take the cupboards to the lower level !
Shifting a house is a task in itself but we were very much comfortable and relaxed with the the Furniture Removalists team.
I will be very happy to recommand Furniture Removalists and their team to my friends and relatives

I used Frs removals for my move from gold cost to Sydney and having moved interstate 5 times in the past I found no previous move go as smooth as this one. Their premium service was just that. The boys were on time hard working polite and stayed in touch with me keeping me up to date on the schedule of how the move was progressing. Even with a last minute delay due to our settlement frs was so accommodating. I was a.little concerned after reading a few reviews that weren't in their favour but after the experience I had I found it important to let people know how positive my experience was. I would and already have strongly recommend FRS removals for a stress free move

We used FRS and were really happy. The young men were very efficient, they worked hard and were very careful with the furniture. They were friendly, punctual and did a great job. I will definitely recommend them and I would use them again any time.
