Was looking for a set of struts for my Suzuki, wreckers were charging $40 - $80 for a set, the cheapest new from Supercheap were $100 for a set. Bought a pair from a wreckers only to have to return them 3 times as they would only work for a couple of days. Found the gas strut guys on a google search and was a bit suspicious, $40 for a brand new set and they didn't have a telephone number. However, they replied to the email really fast, and with express delivery had them the next day for the price of a second hand pair. 10/10

Approximate cost: $40

Nissan X trail had sloppy hatch struts, worse in cold weather. Got a replacement set for 24 bucks + $8 postage, delivered to my door in suburban Adelaide in 4 working days. Easy to fit, 10 minutes all up, hatch now works as new. I didnt even bother pricing replacements from Nissan.

Approximate cost: $32

I've got struts from these guys before and was very happy with the service and quality. Had to get some for an old Jeep and I mistakenly ordered the wrong type (my fault) but my only criticism is they have no contact details on their website or invoice so I have no way of sending the struts back to get then changed over. Other than they they are good to deal with.

Approximate cost: $40
