The group instructors at Genesis are amazing and dedicated, in particular Mali, Leslie and Tracy. You can't beat the location if you are a local. The facilities and equipment are quite dated, although renovations are in process.

I am currently a member and my experience has been satisfactory. I think though given the amount I pay (gold membership) the facilities could be better such as Preston Genesis which is new.

Admittedly I am one of those people that join gyms with the best of intentions but then go very infrequently. Sometimes just a reminder letter from a gym to coax you along can help. I Have been a member of genesis, for seven months, and i paid one year up front. I have hardly gone, and i have never heard from the gym since. I think that should be changed.

I've been going to Genesis Gym for a year now. Originally it was 18 a week, but i got cheaper rates because of the promotion at the time. They have a wide range of equipment and great classes, my personal favourite is body step.
