I have been a client of GAH for many years, the team have always been helpful and go the extra mile. The staff are friendly and it must be a great place to work as they have been there for as long as I have been a customer. Andreas knows his German cars extremely well and is a pure enthusiast. Modern or classic GAH have been able to either help me or put me in touch with a specialist. There are other companies that have a similar profile, but GAH is like part of the family because my cars are also.

I own an Audi A4 B7 and love my car. I have had an annoying sound coming from the engine that I knew wasn't right. I had taken the car to 3 different specialist Audi mechanics who could not hear the problem . When I called German Auto Haus I talked to Andreas who asked me to come down so he could have look. When I arrived I left the car on, Andreas came over and mentioned I might want to have that noise checked out. Exactly what I was after. Booked the car is for the next week. Was given a great little VW Golf as a loan car option. 2 days later, noise gone, had a service as well. Car has never sounded or gone better. Thanks.

I have been taking my cars (3 series and now X3) to Andreas at German Auto Haus for over 15 years. I have always received both personal and professional service and cannot fault them. I drive out of my way - Hampton to Richmond - because I trust that the work they do. Price not cheap - but I don't want cheap repairs. I have compared prices and they compare well with other workshops around home. I would recommend them to anyone!

I was recommended to German Autohaus by a close friend who has been a long term customer of German Autohaus. I have since used German Autohaus on two occasions with my 1st and 2nd older Porsche 911's. Both visits entailed removing the engine and gearbox. The first occasion was an emergency situation where the car had been sold and prior to collection the clutch lever failed. Andreas and his team worked through the weekend to help me out and get the car back on the road for the new owner. The second time to remove the engine and gearbox of my second 911 prior to a complete restoration. Thanks for your help.

these guys are the worst mechanics i have ever dealt with. took my benz for a service which ended up only needing to change the oil and filters costing me $360. after a week faulty warning signs started appearing asking to reduce oil level. went back there and they said nothing is wrong with it "Its fine". I said OK as they are the ones that's supposed to know how to do a simple thing like changing oil. I drove off and 5 minutes latter faulty warning signs came back. I went back there and they took some oil out. I told them if the job was done and they said they cant be 100% sure. I was so frustrated for spending $360 to tell me they cant be 100% sure. If they cant even change my oil correctly I doubt all the other "checks" they did are up to standard. I feel so ripped up by these people and there bad service. word of advise don't be fooled by them like I was and take your car where it will receive the professional service it deserves.

I chose to drop my BMW 335i to service at German Auto Haus as it was just around the corner from my workplace. No issues with the service and the guys were friendly and courteous. They also kept referring me by my first name as though I was a frequent customer which was a nice touch. However their prices were quite expensive. I have used other indie workshops in the area and German Auto Haus were about 20-25% dearer and almost close to dealership prices. The extra markup was enough to make me write a review as I usually don't write reviews online. I reckon I must have paid about $500 too much. They did however give me a 5% discount which I did not request and did not charge me to repair a tyre puncture which would have usually costed $35.

I`m very impressed with the professionalism and service at German Auto Haus. Picked up my Mercedes ML270 from a major service last week. The car also had some issue as the brake light and a beeping sound turned on without any reason. Andreas and his team found the problem and took the time to explain to me what exactly had been done to the car. Excellent service at reasonable prices I will only use German Auto Haus from now on!
