Great facilities but disgustingly filthy on weekends.
Rubbish never cleaned away and lack of bins near eating area. Staff are friendly and helpful

Love this place! I think the council owns it, because it is a bit pricey. Overall, its a pretty fun place to spend some of your time.

The pools are good for playing, but terrible on the weekends and in summer at all times if you want to swim laps. They are incredibly overcrowded and most lanes get used for classes. The actual amenities are very good, but the focus is too much on profit and not enough on service. Avoid times when the aqua fitness classes are on, as the instructors are beyond noisy and do not listen to requests to turn down volume

Went to the Pirates Cove pool with our 3 and 5 year old during the school holidays. They had so much fun there were tears when we had to leave. The kids pool area is very well designed and there are a lot of valves, and sprinklers to experiment with that kept the experience interesting.

There is also a massive (adult) slide but we didn't get a chance to go on it.
It's a bit disappointing there aren't an private family rooms with adjoining showers, just an open shower and a few cubical for families to use. Also at the time we were there the 'family showers' had no running hot water.
The cafe can be access via the pool area so if you want to take a break or have a snack you don't need to exit and go to the foyer section.
Pool entry was on the expensive side but worth it.

Approximate cost: $25 (family)

I have a membership here and seems that is pretty much the stock standard price for membership.
They have everything though including a cycling room for classes as well as 2 other rooms for group classes. A membership gives you access to group classes and the gym as well as the pool. The pool is also great for kids with a pirate cove and a slide that goes outside. There is also an outdoor pool. I would recommend a membership as casual prices are about $23/visit for a class/gym.
The group class rooms are funky with the cycle room has montage of melbourne CBD on it and strobe lights. The instructors are all vibrant and bubbly and some assist with moves after class. Always willing to answer your questions
