I have been going to Get Funked for a while now, Clare always does an amazing job with my cuts and colours and Russell is absolutely hilarious! Thank you for always making those hours in the chair fly by. If you want great results, great service and value for money - don't go anywhere else!

I love getting my hair done at Get Funked. The staff are friendly and helpful, the owner Russell is a GENIUS with hair, and so much fun to boot. I'm always so happy with the result and I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of service. I tell all my friends and family that they should all Get Funked!

Being new to Sydney, I bought a Groupon for Get Funked hair as it was close to my work and I wanting to give them a try. I stopped in person, showed my Groupon and made an appointment for the following week. I even agreed to pay more than that Groupon price to get additional color. I called the afternoon before my appoint to reschedule due to an unexpected work commitment I could not get out of. The rude person who answered the phone and I believe is the management told me I could not "cancel" the appointment. I explained that a work emergency came up and I wouldn't be able to make this appointment. I kindly asked to reschedule any time later that day or any time that week. They refused, stating that I needed 24 hours to cancel and hung up. I argued that I simply wanted to reschedule, I was not cancelling but to no avail! I tried to take the high road, act professionally and call back but surprise, surprise, they didn't answer!! I am appalled by the treatment I received and shocked that a merchant would be so rude. They surely don't understand anything about good customer service as one disgruntled customer turns into hundreds. For this reason, I am taking the time to leave negative feedback on every website I can find and will tell my friends and colleagues to stay away from this shop - thankfully, there's no shortage of good hair salons in Sydney that will treat their customers respectfully. Thankfully Groupon did the right thing and refunded my money in the form of a credit so I can take my business somewhere else where I will receive better treatment and turn into a regular customer. Oh and I gave half a star because I could not give a 0 but that's what is deserved.

Just got back from my appointment at Get Funked Hair. I had Clare who did my cut and colour. She is fantastic, a really friendly and lovely girl and a great stylist/colourist. I'm really happy with the results and will definitely be going back again. I really recommend her and Get Funked Hair for a great service and value for money.

After a truly awful hair salon experience several years ago I was recommended to go & see Russell at Get Funked Hair.. I can honestly say that I have never been happier with my hair add to that it has never looked so healthy and Russell is well on the money when it comes to finding that perfect color & style to suit my "often" changing hair requests !! I feel like a welcome friend every time I walk into the salon by him & all the staff there.. This guy is a "Hair Genius"

Russell is a true hair God! After many years of frustration with less than ideal hair salon experiences I was referred to him by a friend at work. Needless to say, after my third visit this evening for a cut & colour I leave yet again as a very happy customer. Russell spends so much time professionally consulting & taking care with his client. Visiting his salon is the best step I have taken, he's a true professional! I just wish we'd met years ago.

Went to Get Funked last night and as usual a great customer experience. Russell was attentive to my concerns when doing my hair and gave excellent advice on how to care for my hair between visits to get the most longevity from my colour. I was also left in peace to read the gossip mags when I wanted, my guilty pleasure when I go to the salon! Great head massage from Clare too during my wash and treatment. Thanks guys.
