Efficient, professional and very experienced team. Everything was seamless, they handled our boxes and furniture faultlessly from expertly stacking the boxes to fit the truck to navigating the odd configurations of the house. Would highly recommend!

I used GK removals in November 2022. The job involved two pick up points at opposite ends of Canberra and a delivery to the Tuggeranong area. They arrived spot-on the time they said they'd arrive and the team of three were professional, charming and took great care with all the items being moved. I was especially impressed at how they managed to manoeuvre a very steep stair-case at the destination address. Nothing was damaged and nothing was too much trouble for them. An excellent experience.

GK Removals provided a great level of communication in the lead up to my full household move, which put my mind to rest. Moving house is a very stressful time for everyone, however, these guys worked quick, calmly and in a respectful manner. Nothing was too much bother and they packed and transported everything to my storage unit. They effectively fit my household property within. All I can say is they worked their magic to make it fit with room to spare!!! A very family friendly local company you can't go past!!

My wife and I recently moved from Barton ACT, we decided to use a removalist to do the move. After doing some research we decided to go with GK removals as they were available on the date we needed to move. We had everything packed and ready for them to put into their truck. There were things that my wife had asked them not to touch in our bedroom, instructing them not to go into the bedroom at all. A few days after we had moved and we had unpacked everything we noticed that my wife's engagement ring and my watch was missing ($23000). We contacted them and talked to the owner George who advised that "his boys had been working with him for a longtime" and that he always tells them to not take things as you never know whether they're being watched by cameras or not. It's been over a month now and George has told us that he can not help us and that we need to go through his solicitor, we have emailed the solicitor and it's been over 2 weeks and we haven't been able to get a hold of the solicitor. Please avoid using this business as you may have the same experience.

December 2018 . Excellent the boys packed everything they could into the truck neatly and wasted no time at all. All care was taken and nothing was too much trouble. They made our move from fisher to Ngunnawal so easy. We highly recommend and the cost was minimal which was great too. We appreciated all you did . Clem and Eileen

My wife and I recently used GK to move our property. We had many items that were extremely heavy and awkward, including dental chairs, a couch made from the back end of a car, and an extremely heavy vintage railway bench to move, amongst other things.

The two lads that came were not in any way phased by the items and dug straight into it without blinking and didn't complain once. They were extremely polite to my wife which I really appreciated and readily listened to the instructions we had to provide them as the move progressed.

I can fauly GK, from the moment I spoek to George over the phone, which in itself was really reassuring, to the time I said goodbye to the boys I was completely happy. Moving house can get expensive but when your paying for quality it doesnt seem to matter.

I totally reccomend the team and will be recommending them to anyone I know that is moving in the future.

GK were awesome. They did a removal for me on 24 Sep 15. Nothing was too much trouble and their professionalism was faultless. Despite a charge-by-the-hour arrangement, there was never a suspicion of 'stretching it out' and I was very happy with the final invoice (under $1,000). Can't recommend them enough.

Thought these guys were great - i got them to move a very large dining table. They did a really good deal for me and were very fast and efficient. the table was moved without a scratch. definately recomend.

I've moved with these guys twice now. Easy to organise, competitively priced, on time and very efficient. Genuinely nice people too. They even remembered me from 5 years earlier!
