Amazing service at this vet. Not only did they managed to squeeze me in for a late appointment, the Vet Brendan took his time and answered every question until we were both satisfied that my fur baby got the treatment she needed for her sensitive skin and fleas bites. 10/10 would recommend the Glen Iris Veterinary Hospital and Cattery every time.
A very friendly vet clinic and extremely supportive. Kayla at reception is fantastic. My Vet, Sam was extremely supportive when I had to put down my beautiful cat Squeaky. My new fur baby (cat) Gilbert always be in good hands.
Tried to book our puppy for classes. Phonecall not returned, text message not replied to and email ignored. If you want to get your puppy into puppy school while it is still is a puppy, then search elsewhere
I visit Glen Iris Vet Hospital regularly for cat boarding or health related matters, and have been for over 20 years now. The clinic has been updated in the last few years and is smart, clean and functional. The staff are always very professional and pleasant, and they all love the animals. Care provided is fantastic.
Fantastic vets and staff.
These people genuinely love animals and it shows in everything they do.
All about Money - not the local community.
My wife took out dog in because her breath was smelling terrible - a few minutes later the vet saw a stick wedged in her mouth. Took her out the back and said they couldn’t reach it so we will have to bring back later that arvo and sedate her for a cost of $400. My wife took our dog home and removed the ‘bone’ from our dogs mouth in 20 seconds. We then rang to cancel the afternoon appointment which they still insisted we bring her in and sedate her to see if her mouth is scratched. We said we will leave it for now and just monitor her for next few days instead. Then an hour later they rang up to say they need to charge us $73 for the 5 minute visit where they did nothing. Disappointing to see a lack of community spirit and clearly it’s all about the coin. Justin.
Approximate cost: $73
I have two healthy cats so I don't have to go to the vet very often but recently I had occasion to really test out this place. My cat fractured his foot and as he is young the vet gave me the option of seeing if it would fix itself or have the cat operated on and put in plaster. I decided to let the cat heal itself, which it did very quickly, but I was very impressed that the vet didn't jump at the opportunity to make quite a few hundred dollars when he could. i paid $50 for the consultation and now have a healed and happy cat.
Approximate cost: $50
