Amazing blow wave!! Highly recommend!

Moshe and Kayla are an absolute dream team. I went to them a broken woman after a previous hairdresser had bleached my hair and totally ruined it, leaving patches broken and short. I have been visiting them for around 6 months now, and through their amazing knowledge and talent I now have my dream hair. I will forever recommend them to everyone.

This is a great salon! Just had my first haircut - couldn't be happier. Moshe is lovely, and a great cutter. And Kayla is also great - it's a nice change for a haircut to not be stressful at all - just down to earth, nice people who know what they are doing. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone. Love this salon! Moshe and the team made me feel so welcome, and managed to bring my dead hair back to life :)
It is notoriously frizzy and thick, but when I left it was smooth and silky and feels really healthy.

Coming from interstate for a wedding, I made an appointment with Gloss Hair Dezign based on the reviews and it was a great choice! Kayla's expertise and creativity is second to none - she listened to what I wanted, made some thoughtful suggestions, and took the time to create a beautiful, original hairstyle that worked so well with my hair and lasted all night!! Kayla was so lovely to chat to and clearly passionate about what she does. I also felt the price was exceptionally good value given the time and care taken, and the expertise Kayla brought to the style. If I'm in Melbourne again I'll be back! :)

I chose to try Gloss Hair Dezign because they had great reviews and I’m so glad that I did. From the moment I walked in I was greeted nicely, went through a very thorough consultation and had the best hair service of my life. It’s very evident that the staff are highly trained and know what they’re doing. I absolutely love my new hair and had such an enjoyable and relaxing experience while in the salon.

These are the best hairdressers I know! What Kayla did to my hair is a miracle !! I came on a Sunday, helpless, with hair in an unimaginable state (due to a previous hairdresser who had completely ruined my hair), during all the long, they put me at ease and restored confidence in me, I recommend at 200%

Honestly, when you’ve read all the reviews Gloss Hair Design has received so far, you going to ask yourself “Can a hairdresser really be THAT good?” (because that’s how I felt too) Well the answer is YES! For me to write a review, means a lot, because I am pretty much an introvert and don’t really like ‘putting myself out there’, but after my experience with Moshe and Kayla at Gloss Hair Design, I just MUST share how amazing my visit was. Moshe is an absolute expert at his craft and he takes a lot of pride in his work, which shows in his amazing work.
I have had some previous bad experiences with then lead me to ‘take matters into my own hands’ (definitely NOT recommended) leaving me with absolute destroyed hair and a colour which was an absolute nightmare!
As soon as I entered the salon I was welcomed like an old friend & made very comfortable. I felt very unsure of myself and was rather nervous, but Moshe made me feel at ease with his genuine, caring & friendly manner. He took a lot of time to listen to my ideas and explained what would be possible. Like I’ve said I am a rather introverted person and some new social situations are not so easy for me, I felt very comfortable, informed & taken care of every step of the way. I ended up with a big colour correction job and an amazing pixie cut, both couldn’t have been done in a more professional manner! The colour is out of this world and the cut is just amazing!
Kayla is an absolute sweetheart and was giving me great advice on styling & care for my new short pixie cut as well as being super knowledgeable in everything hair!
I’ve never received as many compliments on a hair cut or colour as I have in the past few days since my visit! Although I am not local to the area, I will most definitely be traveling the 90 mins for my next appointment at Gloss Hair.

Moshe and Kayla do wonderful work with my hair from colouring to styling and most recently Keratin straightening.

Their professionalism and genuine approach creates a customer centric environment that is relaxed and makes you feel a little bit special.

It was my first visit and Kayla did my color and I am so happy and so impressed with her work and the salon. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and did it just perfectly. I think it's maybe the BEST color/highlights I've ever had. There is a 'passion' that runs through the salon, even from the Owner who was present, and you can tell these stylists really care and are super-well trained. I highly recommend Gloss and Kayla.

I’ve just arrived in Australia two weeks ago and needed a new hair do, it was totally flat and lifeless! I came across Gloss Hair Dezign online and said I’d give them a go.. they did NOT disappoint!! Kayla and Moshe are absolute sweethearts, so welcoming and they made it feel like home for me! I honestly didn’t want to leave! Moshe talked me through how he thought my hair style covered my facial features and wanted to create a warmer more open look, he asked me what I wanted but a girl who doesn’t regularly go to the salon, I really didn’t know. He put so much confidence in me and left me feeling great about my appearance! He really isn’t in it for the money, and truely cares about his clients! While my color was developing Kayla and myself sat and had the best of chats about anything and everything! It was one of the best evenings I’ve had so far in Australia, unlimited wine being a bonus ‍♀️ I can’t recommend this salon enough, I love you guys and thank you!! I’ll be back!! ️

I was 100% happy after both visits. The keratin treatment I got on the second visit is so much more amazing than I’ve ever experienced anywhere. I’ve honestly never seen my hair so smooth and shiny. Plus genuinely nice people.

Awesome service. Moshe is a creative, perfectionist stylist. My hair looks vibrant and fun. The cut, style, treatment and coloring were fantastic. I keeping receiving positive comments about how great my hair looks.

Katya is a TRUE PROFESSOR of hair color. She fixed a very botched blonde job to Kim Kardashian perfection levels. She is so skilled and Mosh's salon is 100% hospitable and relaxed plus it is open on Sundays. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
