The team have moved me a few time over the years with the latest being this month. Once again the service and delivery was outstanding, Sean and the crew go above and beyond putting beds together etc. I highly recommend the team.

The worst company ever. Where to start?? Didn’t bring s big enough truck for the job. Damaged my table, leather couch, fridge and at the new house damaged the tile floor and walls. The mover insulted my wife and intimidated her and insulted one of our guests that arrived. They then held my couch to ransom because I refused to pay for them to go back and get the other furniture and boxes they left behind, due to the fact they didn’t break the furniture down to move it or use packing blankets so not to scratch or damaged anything. Over charged for stopping working and driving in the opposite direction to feed themselves 2 hours into the job and also extended the time on the form. It gets worse. They were also supposed to do the bond clean. The Manager/cleaner rings that night twice intoxicated apologising and saying she’ll deal with the matter. The next day for the bond clean, one of her kids is mysteriously sick so puts off the clean to the following day, the last day of my tenancy. Arrived at 11am now 9 like she said, no bucket no mop, just a basket of cleaning products. Landlord calls and says she’s doing nothing just sitting there. Ring to see what’s happening, she explains that she’s not the maid and is waiting for someone to clean up the floor, the very thing we hire her to do. She then explains tgere are still things there, I said yes, because your guys didn’t move them for us. As you can imagine frustrated and 3 days of unprofessionalism, destruction and lies, my wife arrived and there were words exchanged at which point she left with no time to get cleaners before the tennants move in the next day. This has cost me twice as much now with no solution in site. When confronted abou the damage, was told insurance won’t cover the items, they’ll assess how much they think they’ll be worth now. Promised a phone number to call from management but still waiting. The nightmare continues and this company has no morals or integrity.

Nothing worse than the thought of packing and moving house. These guys made life so much easier and at a better than reasonable price. From the time they answered my call to the time they said goodbye there was nothing but a professional attitude. These guys looked after my belongings like they were there own, outstanding.
Not only will I be using them again should I have to move, but I will be letting all my friends and family know.

They are professionals. On time. Courtesy call day before move and half an hour before arrival. Worked continuously and quickly until move was completed. Reasonably priced. Friendly and courteous.

Sean and Aaron did a Saturday job for me at last minute and were very kind and professional. It was not an easy move but they were great and very reasonably priced :-) Christie in the office was lovely too!

I had a great experience with the Local Moves staff. Kristie from the office was so helpful and friendly. And the guys were the same - they were also very careful with my stuff and worked in a steady pace. A simple move was made more difficult when we arrived at my new apartment building to find that the lift was out of order. We had to move everything from the truck up three flights of stairs! The guys took it all in their stride and remained in good humour. I'm very thankful for a stress-free move thanks to Local Moves. I whole-heartedly recommend this service.
