This is by far the best vet I have ever taken my pet to. I’ve moved multiple times and used many vets and this is the only one I have stuck with. I now live 30 minutes away and still go out of my way to see Dr Rory Finch and the team.

It’s 10/10 service every time I go, I don’t find they try and sell you unnecessary items like I have found in the past, and the information I get is always spot on, concise, in laymen’s terms and with the best customer service.

Kudos to the team there and the wonderful reception staff for making Frankies experience and mine amazing, each and every time.

Would not go anywhere else on the Gold Coast now that I’ve found them.

I am always very hesitant seeking medical advice for my fur child Kona, and after 4 years in Australia, it was difficult to find someone I can truly trust. I spent lots of time researching and finally found Gold Coast Vet Surgery. Dr. Laura, although young, made us feel at ease from the beginning and was very knowledgeable, comforting, and guided me to make the best decision myself for Kona. A quality that is rare for any medical professional. I really felt Kona was in good hands going through surgery at the age of 12 and the post-operative checkups are better than those that I received myself going through surgery! I cannot recommend Dr. Laura enough, she is a great and kind vet.

Kevin and his team are an asset to any dedicated pet owner and their dog. They have looked after 5 of our family's dogs over a number of years. As a medical doctor myself, I acknowledge and appreciate Kevin's experienced clinical skills and value highly his level of care and commitment which are outstanding. I travel across town to this Accredited Vet practice as I am 100 % confident my 4 x furry family members will receive the absolute best possible care when needed. Best customer service, I was so nervous about coming to a new vet after moving houses especially with the coronavirus going around I was so nervous about waiting outside while my dog was inside. We chose to use Gold Coast Vet Surgery (GCVS) for a skin tag our dog had, that had been cut open a little. We have used many other vets on the Gold Coast for our animals depending on where we lived.
We heard great reviews about GCVS and thought, let’s give them a shot (even though we have a vet 5 doors down)
And boy was it a great decision.

Our dog Coco, was seen by Dr Rory, he was helpful and advisable, he didn’t sugar coat or leave anything to chance. All areas of what needed to be done were explained simple enough to get the full picture as to what was involved, what may happen etc. a breath of fresh air!

What was great is I was estimated an expected amount based on some uncertainties, and this was made very clear to me. This helped me gauge coats etc, but on arrival after surgery the bill came short of the estimate given which is what we all want to hear from time to time.

Needless to say, we’ve found our Vet clinic, a clinic where pets are not that, they’re family, and they’re looked after like a family member.

What can I say that others haven't already said? It is simply so reassuring going to this practice knowing over beloved animals will get the best healthcare with kindness and care. Dr.Charlotte was so gentle with my Cooper - a traumatised rescue dog who had teeth removed. His pain relief was excellent and he went home happy with no ongoing stress issues. They will always be our vets !
