I had the mixed grill plate. It had a delicious array or chicken shish, lamb shish, Iskender, kofte accompanied by tabouli salad and rice. The meat was well cooked and rich.

Love the name of this place and it does it justice! love the taste and service here! An awesome place to eat!

This is a business that thinks that the customers need THEM rather than vice-versa. There is a fading newspaper cutting of the owner being felicitated that is framed and I guess the owner is deluded into thinking there is NO ONE better than him. They are RUDE to a point that I had to pinch myself as if to ask myself "Is this REAL"..I asked for my order with garlic sauce and the lamb not to be chopped too finely (was a take-away lamb container). The owner told me to take it the way he sold it or I could go somewhere else. Moreover he was arrogant enough to point me to the next shop saying.."You want you can go to the next shop..if you want MY meat you take it how I SERVE it"..It was just recently (about 2-3 months back) whilst doing a renovation job, I was talking to my tiler about going to try this shop..and he said that the owner was very rude and they don't go there anymore...I should have listened!!!..and it's not JUST the two of us...It seems like more and more people are discovering NOT their FOOD but their insolance..And all this for WHAT...food that is of AVERAGE quality...Thanks but NO THANKS

Golden grill is a bit of a gamble, sometimes the food is great, sometimes it's a little oily. It's definitely a friendly atmosphere but is not for the weak of cash. Even a small tub of meat is $11. A special meal when you get it and especially if its a good night.

The Golden Grill is very suburban and is right near Werribee Station. I like to get plates to share and eat at the little tables outside. Good place for just chatting and watching the world go by.

They don't do to badly for a little roadside cafe and I find the food fresh and tasty and the staff friendly.

Golden Grill has been around forever, so they are obviously doing something right! The menu is pretty standards - kebabs, mixed grill plates, salads, dips, desserts. You can eat in or get take away, the food is the same but the price vary by about $5.

Most of the staff are wonderful, friendly and always have happy smiles! One or two staff members are always abrupt and rude but the good staff members make up for it!

My fiance says these are the best kebabs he has ever eaten, I agree they are pretty good, but not the best I have ever had. I often get a pide or borek and some dip or a mixed grill plate, these are always fresh and tastey!

from the outside, this place doesnt look anything spectacular, and even from the inside it is nothing fancy, however the kebabs are amazing. They dont go short on the fillings and so this makes it great value for $$. The staff are always nice but not over friendly. Its a shame they dont deliver.

MAN THIS JOINT HAS THE BEST LAMB WE HAVE EVER TASTED. I AM ADDICTED TO THIS PLACE, IF YOU ARE EVER IN THE AREA DO NOT WASTE TIME ANY WHERE ELSE. EXCELLENT

I am Turkish and come from where people actually know how to make Kebabs! This shop is probably good to those who do not understand how real Kebabs should be made! This is not good food at all, they do not use the good lamb meat, but rather the nasty cheaper version, their chicken is also full of fat and not lean. This was a very disappointing visit and meal, thus i will not ever buy from here again. It is a real shame there are no good Kebab shops in Werribee area and people do not know what a Kebab should taste and look like, all they seem to care about is the price and the size of the meal and not the actual quality.

THESE KEBABS ARE THE BEST I HAVE EVER TASTED. THEY ARE FRESH AND WELL COOKED AND WILL CONTINUE TO VISIT THIS TAKE AWAY STORE. ALL THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL ARE VALUE FOR MONEY.
