We recently had our second solar system installed in our Redland Bay home by Goodhew. As per the first time, they were very informative about our options, even offering us a panel upgrade at the same price, as they had some commercial panels left over from a previous install. The team they sent to do the install were very efficient and friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Follow up from the Administration team was prompt and appropriate. Could not recommend them higher.

We had Goodhew come out to repair a faulty solar panel - they then quoted on damaged panel and were quick to come out and install new panel. The young men who came out were very polite and did a wonderful job. Would recommend Goodhew to everyone and would certainly use them again.

One phone call to have a representative attend to our Solar installation ,clean , service and check the operation. Some faults were found , photos taken and a report with a quote to fix the same day. Work was carried out within a few days and the boys were great arriving on time and cleaning up when finished. Ran us through the repairs and showed us how it was all working. We will definitely use Goodhew again and have the yearly clean and report carried out.

My review of Goodhew Electrical & Solar Insulation of a 10kw solar system with 2 X Growatt inverter.

I don’t normally write reviews but it was so good to have a job done well on time at cost and cleaned up at the end, I felt a review was the least I could do.

Gavin came out to my house for a quote. He listened and looked at what I was trying to achieve and made a few suggestion on how to make it all work effectively.
The next day I had a quote via email with all the detail and brochures on the equipment.
I paid the deposit and was given an insulation Date.
Goodhew office contacted me 4 days prior to the installation date as a reminder and to make sure I was ready.
Tom and his team turned up on time and gave me a rundown on how the work would proceed and when to expect the power to be turned off a back on. As planed the job took two day. On completion of the job Tom ran me through how the system works he also arrange Goodhew tek support to come to my house and set up the Growatt inverters Wi-Fi and set up the phone APP so I could monitor my system, (just too easy).
All work was done to a high standard, the system was working as quote and the site was cleaned up.
Because of the good experience I had with the solar install I have since had Goodhew electrical back to install censer lights and power point to the house and also decided to do a full switch board replacement and upgrade.
I had the same result, Sean and his team completed the work as per the quote the job was professionally done with a detailed explanation on how it all works and the site was all cleaned at the end of work.

I was with Origin prior to the install but change to AGL as Origin did not want to match the feed in tariff off 15c/KWh per Kw. One month after swapping to AGL Origen call me and offered 20 c/KWh to go back to them.
I’m back with Origin and had my first bill a few days ago well I should say “What BILL”
The System is working better than predicted and my account is in credit.

Really good service from these people. Our old system that was on our house when we bought the place failed and Goodhew installed a far bigger better system. There was to be a waiting period of a few weeks before they did the work however Goodhew had a cancellation and the work was done within days.
All Goodhew employees were extremely helpful and polite and explained the whole system well.

We are so pleased to be a customer of a reputable and honest company like Goodhew Electrical & Solar. They installed our original solar system in 2012 which has been faultless until recently when one of the DC isolators failed. Their response was prompt and the electricians who rectified the problem were courteous, friendly and forthcoming with information on the repair required. Reliable, helpful and friendly service

We recently (May 2019) upgraded from a 1.5kW to a 6.6kW system and our whole experience with Goodhew was positive & satisfying. The administration & installation team were very good - they delivered on time & completed the job professionally and tidily - and the system is performing as represented.
A couple of days ago we required some after sales support owing to an incident with the systen and their response was excellent. The problem was rectified under warranty, both quickly and with a minimum of fuss.
Our opinion of Goodhew is that it is a company that not only provides good value product but one that stands ready to support the product and their workmanship if & when due.
Unquestionably we would use them again.
