Took an older family member to Goodlife Sandringham for the first time experiecing a Goodlife gym, with a paid for guest pass and we experienced a terrible and rude person at reception without any compassion, clearly in the wrong field of work, working early Sunday mornings. Her name started with Z. It was one of the worst experiences i had at any gym over the years. Avoid this club at all costs, you would be wise to save your money and choose somewhere else to support with your time and money another better club.

dont sign any contract with this people,its very hard cancel membership after.if you move to different place.we try stop this membership for few month

I was so disappointed with this gym. First of all when I joined I payed extra for personal training. The PT was unprofessional and did not give me all sessions. I became ill and couldn't come in for an extended period of time. I did not hear anything from them. I contacted them three times and explained my situation. There was no offer of any compromise or solution. Eventually after my year was finished I sat with the manager and explained all that had occurred. He sat at the computer and "cancelled" my membership and "cancelled" my debit success.
A couple of months have gone by and payments are still coming out of my account. I have tried again to get this sorted.
In a service industry they would benefit from being efficient, friendly and competent.
On a plus side there is a variety of classes at the gym.
If you want a good gym that actually cares about its members - don't come here.

I've been a member here for years and it has improved a lot in the last 12 months. The selection of small group and large group training is exceptional. The PTs are driven, knowledgeable and motivating. The equipment is fantastic, I love the new cable machines and TRX. Also, the pool is beautiful with salt chlorination. Parking can get busy but I have never missed a class due to this.

Came here with a free trial card given to me by my friend who is a member. Unfortunately I was treated so rudely by the club manager it completely turned me off even trying out the gym. Avoid unless you enjoy the hard sell sales pitch

So the gym is pretty good if you come at off peak time, great equipment plenty of space etc (no classes, obviously at off peak) peak time is another story though as there's not enough equipment (squat racks, the old cable machine etc) and some weights are old and falling apart. Besides that the gym boss guy is one of the rudest reps I've come across. I got my friend a free day pass as I was trying to motivate her and get her into the gym, he comes out and has a go at us saying she has to sit down and sign up etc, before she can have a workout and it sounds like we just wanted to have a free workout, Well YES HELLOOO FREE DAY PASS trying to get my friend healthy. In the end he said she could pay $20 and if she signs up they'll refund the money back. False advertising if you ask me and way to make people want to join *insert confused face* However everyone else who works there is nice and the trainers are great. Some classes are also good like pilates.

My friend goes to this gym and I wanted to try it out before joining so she got me a guest pass to come along with her for a workout.
I came to try out the gym today and I wasn't even allowed to try it out because the manager said we needed to 'sit down and talk about membership options' when my friend said I would like to try the gym first and then discuss the membership options.

He said it looked like I was just 'coming along for a free workout'. I thought he was incredibly rude and I walked out. I wasn't going to deal with the whole sales pitch before even trying out or seeing the gym. High pressure sale tactics aren't my thing and if they're not yours either I suggest you go somewhere else.

Great variety of classes. Heaps of studios so can put more classes on. Has a pool as well which is great. The only disappointing thing is the air conditioner in the main studio. Would be better if it was colder.

I have been going here for the last 2 years & I would have to say it's the best gym I've been member of. The classes & instructors are great. In particular Helen who takes the Body Balance & Pump classes & Paula who takes the Pilates mat & reformer classes. Does get busy in the carpark due to so many things going on such as basketball, swimming & the gym. Have not used the creche myself but friends say their kids love it.

Compared to the other gyms in the area, this place is fantastic! The staff treat you like friends, and generally make it a place you feel very comfortable to be in. Great service at Bounce, the sports store within the gym. Childcare is good too!
