Gumtree is like e-bay only its free to advertise stuff for sale. Its great to get rid of the bits and pieces at home that you no longer need. I look on there for stuff to buy aswell, and have got some great bargains.

You can't beat this website! It is a free listing to buy and sell your unwanted items. You can also see how many people have viewed your listing.

Pretty good site, lots of users, you just have to be careful of scams as it's not as safe as other sites.

I like the fact that Gumtree is free to list on, we have used it in the past to advertise for employees and I have also used the site for second hand items for home (filing cabinet). Its a user friendly site with lots of different items and brands always listing.

i don't know, this site doesn't really protect many people, from scams something about it just doesn't make me trust it very much. but i guess if you are going to visit the person then its safer.

There are lots of users and it's better than the Quokka as you can see photos of what you are buying, so you don't have to travel around and see everything. It's free to advertise too so there are more things on there than on other websites.

I place a top ad on gumtree every month and find it great I always manage get lots of inquiries and positive feedback. I would and constantly do recommend to everyone.

Fantastic free classifieds site, easy to use, fast loading and fairly effective. Some items sold on here very quickly and easily, others have hung around on there with no sales. Staff don't seem to answer your queries as fast as I'd like but it is a free site.

This website is a great way to help the environment and recycle the stuff you don't need anymore and sell it and make some spare cash for Christmas. The ads are free to place you just have to sign up and people contact you by email or leave your number if you wish and its all done!
