Not a “Brown”- guys grooming. The moment you enter this place you get , eyes rolling, bit of a taunt, very subtle and systematically thrown around , being made a fun of kind of a feeling.

If you try booking with the accent they will tell you straight away about the barber that you don’t want and it’s all booked and give you an apprentice to be dealt with to start with as an option.
Apparently, there is a form that tells them about your last haircut you had the information won’t be taken or recorded as seriously because I got a haircut that I never asked for today.
If you are a brown or any other coloured person. It will take barely 3-4 minutes(for a brown guy only) to get shampooed by an “apprentice”(since, you will never be a priority or a customer)and being told to move your head in a way that clearly have an underlying taunts(tone). For “”“other””” customers for shampooing only it takes way longer than that. They are being massaged properly, being talked to politely.

Further, The fact that you will be made to feel unwanted and waste of time as early as you enter, barber won’t want to talk to you even if you would want to make a conversation(not that I am a big fan of small talk) you will be replied by constant silent treatment. It’s being ongoing for almost since the time I had first haircut with them.
I used to think of it as misunderstanding from my part, sometime hairdryer would burn my scalp, sometime the water will be way too hot, sometime things you said will be twisted and thrown back to you.
Sorry Desi Guys, have some self respect and self esteem and read those not very subtle signs. They are all over. We have plenty of other barbers in the suburbs with no hefty parking fees and busy traffic.

Had a back n shoulder wax done here Now this was my first time I ever had any kind of hair waxing done (and I'm 48). In a nutshell, service was AWESOME. I felt almost no pain. I highly recommend to all and sundry

I have been a customer of Guys Grooming for a number of years now and have always been completely satisfied with the service I have received on every occasion.
I am based in Melbourne. I always get my hair cut and colored when I am in Perth as I have
never felt more relaxed in a professional environment as I do at Guys Grooming.
On this occasion I called to make a booking for Saturday and I found out that the salon closes at 4. When I called the salon Rochelle answered and tried her best to help me with this situation. Rather than informing me I could only have a cut or colour she arranged an appointment for a hairdresser to cut my hair then stayed back almost an hour after the salon closed to finish off the colour.
I honestly have never witnessed such a dedicated level of customer service from anyone before.
Being in the service industry I understand how challenging day to day operations can be and that feedback is very minimal if at all existent. Thank you to Rochelle and the team at Guys Grooming.

The staff are friendly, funny and courteous, this is a great place for men to go for hair, face and body grooming. It has comfortable couches, you can watch sport on flat screen TV's, chill out with a men's magazine or newspaper, drink a refreshing beverage and experience the best in male grooming services.

A Guys Grooming virgin.... What a place to sit down and chill.
For a moment there I nearly forgot what I was in there for. Staff were friendly and helpful, and you do walk out of there feeling a million bucks.

I have been think about a certain hair sty... shape for a really long time but I have always asked for just my usual short on the side and long on the top for the past year. The reason for this is because the difficulty is over 9000 and I have always felt like I would be making a big deal for just a haircut. The only place that I thought could pull it off was Guys Grooming. The last time I gave this many directions and specifics was for my custom bike. Word just can't describe how great of a job Mez did. I couldn't have imagined it any better. Mez - Your the best!!! I'm going to rock this style for a few years now. Guess where I'll be getting it done?

Guys Grooming is my 6 weekly escape from the office where I can go get pampered and relax. I am always made to feel welcome and that I am number 1. The hair dressers take a genuine interest in how my hair looks and also in how I am doing in general. It is more expensive than your run of the mill hairdressers but you get what you pay for and it is worth every penny.

Being a guy and pampering don't always go in the same sentence but Guys Grooming makes you feel quite at ease getting pampered - and professionally groomed. They do a fantastic job whether it's a quick haircut or a package deal (the facials are great) - and make it quite easy to be a returning customer.

I'm not a fan of Hair Salons, although I do accompany my wife to hers & get my haircut there occasionally, & Barbers are a bit hit miss in terms of the hairdresser & the queue. Going to Guys Grooming is a totally different experience, & one that I plan on repeating regularly. Genuine attentive staff who are focused on making you feel relaxed & at home, with the added bonus that they are seriously good at what they do. A bit different for a bloke to look forward to his next haircut, but I am.

I had my hair cut there today - I had long shoulder length hair when I went in and short styled hair when I left. I've had long hair for the past 8-10 years and I'm making a career transition so needed to start looking the part. Kristy was my hair stylist and she was excellent. Listened to my concerns and what I wanted and then did exactly what was asked and better i.e. turned my long hair into a short hair style that is professional looking, flexible and can be styled for casual/ social occassions as well as easy to groom. I couldn't have asked for more from Kristy - very professional, courteous and knew what she was doing. Ask for Kristy when you book into Guy's Grooming, I will certainly go back and see her again!

After sitting for a short period of time having a beer and some chips I went for my hair cut and they went for well deserved massages. It was great - something to cross off the bucket list - reminded me of Clint Eastwood having a shave in "High Plains drifter", only I didn't have to shoot anyone! Was a really good "close shave" too - enjoyed it.

I'd never had a professional shave before and did not know what to expect. Upon arrival I was made very welcome and seated with a lovely coffee and magazine. The shave itself was very relaxing with plenty of lotions,potions and hot towels! The shave was very gentle and I left feeling very smooth and relaxed! I hope I get another gift like that again!!

Thanks to Kate's stylish cut - I won the 'Sexiest Male' award at the Ball I attended!! Her attention to detail and customer service is excellent :)

I had a full leg wax at Guys Grooming with Aimee - and she is really fantastic!! As a cyclist I have been waxing for some 20 years now and she is one of the best practitoners I have come across.

Getting a haircut from a barber is like eating @ a fast foods store, you never know what you're going to get! A barber will cut your hair the way they want to cut your hair - not the way you want your hair cut. I was so sick of walking out of barbers unhappy so I decided to try Guys Grooming, which was/is downstairs from my workplace. After my first haircut @ Guys Grooming, I knew that this was the place for me. The service & premises are great but they are just a bonus, all that really matters to me is that they cut my hair the way I want my hair cut. If you are not happy with barber style cuts, then I implore you, you must go to Guys Grooming, what a place!

not since I returned from Dubai where such places are part of the scene have I found a place in OZ as good or better..until I discovered Guy's Grooming....great value..great staff..great service and care in every detail

my husband's favourite beauty therapist. he always praise them at their work. he says that is a very different and relaxing environment, he also now a days going there for hair dressing also.

My husband and son use this company and they are always very very happy, they feel much more comfortable going here than they do a female beauty salon.

Very professional yet practical - you don't feel silly asking questions about skin care. I was impressed learning about my skin type and how to keep it looking good ... where else can a guy to that?
When you see the staff enjoying themselves and you can see they want to be there it says a lot about a business.
Highly recommended.

I walked into guys grooming on a pure whim, I was walking past and decided it was time for a haircut. To be honest I was expecting it to be the same as all the other male grooming venues around Perth. However, I was pleasantly surprised! As soon as you walk in there is a feel of quality you are greeted by a friendly staff member who takes you into a waiting room that is about as 'blokey' as you can get, with sporting memorabilia all over the walls and decent mags that I actually want to read. The service is excellent, they ask you how you want your hair cut and if you don't know what you want they will give you a bunch of examples to choose from. All I know is that when I walk out of guys grooming I look and feel good and that it was definitely worth $55.

Having struggled with finding anywhere in Perth to get a good haircut for the longest time, I stumbled across Guys Grooming after succumbing to their infamous 'Gorilla' marketing team wandering round the city one lunchtime.
Guys Grooming cater only for the men of Perth and offer something that you cant find anywhere else in Perth - it really shows, right down to the last detail. Welcomed by a slick and industrial feeling environment, you promptly find yourself hanging out in the 'waiting' area, offered whatever you feel like drinking from water, excellent coffee or even your favourite beer while reading magazines that you actually WANT to read (Not a copy of 'Hello' or 'New Idea' in sight!) or simply sit and watch the Plasma TV showing anything from Fox Sports to Beyonce vids on MTV (there are also mini LCD screens at each of the Haircut stations in case you didnt want to miss out!). Note that it's best to leave your significant other at home or wandering the shops as GG is a Men Only set up, even in the waiting room!
Your hairdresser takes the time to get to know you and what you are looking for and, over time (I've been going regularly for over two years now) will build up your own unique profile with everything from which shampoo / products you prefer, to how your hair was cut and styled last visit. It all adds up to a pretty amazing experience.
The quality of the cut is excellent and it's nice to feel like you are being listened to with what you ask for - too many times, the Maurice Meade's and Tony&Guy's of the world think that good value means cutting your hair so short that you're left with nothing to style (all the while being served by staff too far up themselves to care anyway!)
All the staff at Guys Grooming are really friendly and even the girls who work on the waxing / massaging and detailing side of things always take the time to say hello. The range of services offered is extensive for everything you can think of, from traditional cut throat shaves to massage, waxing and hand / feet 'detailing' and all are well worth exploring further, whether it's for that special occasion, hot date or even just for your own feel good factor.
HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended to EVERY man in Perth who actually gives a damn about his appearance and is an absolute indulgence not to be missed out on.

Guys Grooming is the ultimate male grooming experience. What used to be a chore (to get a haircut and grooming maintenance) is now something I look forward to. The stylists are the best, the ambiance is unique (complete with 'the chill out room') and the service is personalized. Do you yourself a favor and check it out!

My husband raves about this place! Its for men only, they sit and have a beer & read mens mags while they get their hair cut. They offer massages & mens facials as well. Its a bit pricey $55 for hair cut & style but all cuts include wash & head massage. Very good service for men.
