Have been to Ha Lu twice and each time have loved the experience. Sharing smallish tapas type meals with friends is both fun and gives a great chance to try lots of dishes also. Prices are a little high for some dishes but overall well worth the time and quality of the food !

The service is very good at Ha-Lu they ask you while your waiting for your food numerous times if you like another drink etc.. There very kind and friendly people.
The food is absolutely amazing.. its worth the waiting for main courses, Its a bit more costly japanese restaurant than others but the food is worth the money.. Its a small and cosy restaurant where your best to book a table, with delicious food and friendly customer service. Its has to be one of best or the best Japanese restaurant in Perth..

Tried with a group of girlfriend, only small so definitely book. I would describe as modern Japanese tapas. Food was fantastic, a huge range and the waiter give great advice when ordering. We ordered loads thinking it would be too much but it all got eaten and only cost about $45 per person. Miso is great.

One of the best Japanese restaurant in Perth and is my all time favourite! Small portions at reasonable prices but you get to order a lot of different dishes to try & share. Crispy pork, soft shell crab miso gratin, grill wagyu beef with onions, and wagyu beef tataki are absolutely lovely!

This has to be one of the best Japanese restaurants in Perth. It spurns the traditional 3 course menu and instead encourages a more social dining experience with a type of Japanese tapas - small tasting portions that are so creative and fresh you will find yourself ordering more and more. Exceptional.
