Well, this year's hampers arrived over the weekend in plastic bags from Coles, I would have preferred the usual boxes. Nothing was missing and all my frozen items were still frozen. My only annoyance with Hamper King is that my gift cards arrived and some of them had not been activated even though the covering letter said they were. It was a bit embarrassing when I tried to use them and was told that they had nothing loaded on them, therefore I missed out on the JB HI FI sales over the last 4 days - not happy about it and I don't know when I will be able to use them. Not sure if I will order gift cards again as they arrived tooo close to Christmas, I do most of my shopping in October/November.

2017 was the worst year. we get told that coles will deliver the hampers, but nowhere did they mention they would order our hamper contents via COLES ONLINE SHOPPING. i paid $800 for my hampers and the actual cost came to almost $420. on a pension that equals almost pension payment. they even charged me for the bonus free hamper. and all hamper contents were delivered in plastic bags (enviro friendly...NOT)
their response to my complaint .. we had extra costs so what do you want us to do??? TELL THE TRUTH and explain how you charged me double plus for certain hampers..... legal issues pending.....

I do understand your frustration, but when placing your order they clearly state what you will be receiving so you can basically add it up yourself and see that it is far more than if you went to the supermarket, they do have expenses and this is layby remember. Next time maybe put some money aside each week, I like ordering a few hampers but I always check roughly how much it would cost me if I purchased it from the supermarket, it's all about convenience. Also, I wasn't particularly happy about them arriving in plastic bags either, I don't usually pack everything away immediately but had to. I don't understand what happened with paying for the bonus free hamper, I have received mine a few times now. My only issue with them this year is that my gift cards arrived and some of them were not activated when I tried to spend them - how frustrating. Try Chrisco, they are much better.

I have been ordering hampers from these guys for some time now and it has been improving. It's great that you can add to your order online at any time, you can check your payments and make any changes you like without having to call them.
It is a great way to save for Christmas, I usually order $600 worth of hampers and around $1500 of gift cards, which really come in handy for spending or as gifts.

After a few disappointments i gave them another try. Well my hampers arrived on time and were all in perfect condition. They have changed the way the pack them and now it is less likely anything will be damaged. The delivery trucks are refrigerated so all the cold/frozen goods remain in excellent condition. Very happy with my delivery this year.

I wasn't going to order anything from Hamper King this year but they offered me a reasonable discount if I were to place an order, so I gave them another try. Well the hampers arrived earlier this week, I ordered a meat hamper, the meat had almost defrosted by the time I received it so we decided to have a bbq. The lamb chops were the worst I have ever had, fatty, gristley meat, not pleasant at all. The steak wasn't great and the sausages had defrosted and been refrozen, they looked terrible. Think twice if you want to order one of their meat hampers. This was my last time.

I have been with hamper king for some time now and I did have issues with my last order which they fixed in the beginning. However, later as I worked through some of the hampers I noticed damaged items and that quite a few of the ice-creams (drumsticks, magnums etc) had actually been refrozen at some point as when we opened them you could see the ice crystals and that they were out of shape and the ice-cream was not creamy it was icy. I contacted them and they asked me to do another stat declaration and take photo's of everything and then they would consider maybe doing a part refund. I certainly was not happy with this response and actually I have not placed an order with them this year. I received no apology and was left quite disappointed after so many years. Not sure if I will order next time.

I have been ordering hampers for 5 years from Hamper King. I mainly order their gift cards as they have so many to choose from. They have an enormous amount of food hampers, alcohol, electrical and even hampers for your pets. The only issue I had with hamper king is when one of my hampers arrived, some of the items were missing and I also had some damaged items. I had to fill out a statutory declaration and mention every item that was missing or damaged and then get someone to sign it. Then forward it to them, and was then told they would consider it. After 3 weeks I received my money back for those items. With the other hamper companies, you just have to call and explain what has occurred and they fix it up there and then, no waiting time (unless it is a whole hamper, then you have to wait a couple of days) This did put me a bit off them, it was quite time consuming, which is not what you want to be doing around christmas time. Besides that, I am still a customer of theirs. I still do recommend them even though they are a bit more expensive than the others.

i decided to get a few christmas hampers last yeah from here and i was very happy
with them. i was able to make cheap weekly payments at my convienance and they
took the time to make sure i was 100% satified when first ordering my hampers.
The lady who helped me was very friendly and made sure if i had any problems i would contact her.
