While I would love to give it a better review as I love the produce and variety and philosophy of promoting in season produce which may be “wonky” which I love to support I simply cannot do this with the poor attitude toward safety and customer care during their recent and ongoing renovations. I was thrilled to see it expanding and happy to put up with items being everywhere as it would be hard to do otherwise unless you closed the store however it was dangerous to be there as workers hurriedly and careless left extension cords and trip hazards everywhere. I came very close to tripping on an uneven surface which was being ignored by workers and when I complained to a nearby employee they said “oh sorry please be more careful”
The “straw” came this morning when as I was shopping there was a massive noise of grinding or something similar and dust... it was quite unbearable and others were gobsmacked that this was going on during shopping hours The workers were wearing earmuffs commendably but what about the damage to the hearing of their poor customers? I complained to the manager so she hope it doesn’t get ignored also! I shop there 2 or 3 times a week but Coles also has good F&V so I’m tossing up should I go elsewhere if this is Harris Farms view of their clients

I get on line notice of the specials and head out to meet the open doors at 7am. I cannot stand shopping with crowds. I find Harris Farm to be awares of the local market. I find them particularly good for meats. eg; Got Beef Fillet last week for $17 a kg. Yes some of their stuff is yearling but overall it is good value. re; fruit and veg, I am a bit of a specials shopper and do appreciate the specials of fresh local produce. I save quite a bit but the real joy for me is to get Cheeses that I have never seen befoer and Tasmanina Camembert etc for sometimes $16 a kg. A bit of a shocker for the waste line but the choices in cheeses are amazing and the dips gourmet bisc and the small array of cold meats and chicken meat is inviting. I recommend early in the week. I like the boxes of fresh in season fruit as you go thru the door and the flower stand is not bad either. Staff have always been helpful and apart from the odd wrong price on the docket which they happily deal with, I am hooked. I like supporting an oz family company and when I need that special something I would choose to go to Harris Farm. Have been to Nth Strathfield and Rhodes also but Broadway is biggest to me
