On three weeks holiday and my son (who is very particular about his hair) wanted his hair cut before high school went back. Havingtons Hair & Beauty was easy to get appointment, Friendly staff and above all an AWESOME haircut. Will be back when on holidays again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Thank you for your services. :-)

I just moved to Hervey Bay, and know no one. My intuition told me that Havingtons would be the hairdresser for me. My mind liked the word "experienced". With receptionist Morgan's efficient and personable assistance, my body got me down to the waterfront and into the neat little shop within an hour of deciding that I couldn't stand one more minute of too much hair for the heat and humidity we've been bearing up under. I wanted my curly greying hair cut well; I have had too many experiences with folk who can't cut curly hair, no matter what they tell you! This was the best haircut I've had since leaving my beloved hairdresser in NSW; I was afraid I'd have to move back there! (I have been getting quite decent haircuts in Childers.) But Michael's cut is extraordinary: whippy and cute and short enough for swimming, yet still feminine and curly. Whoopee! I feel young and feisty again! Michael is also open and easy to talk to, which made the whole event totally pleasurable. Next time I'm having some foils done, and, now I've read the other reviews, I may even go for a pedicure!

Always a great cut and colour!!!! Great to have such and experienced stylist in Hervey Bay, Michael really knows hairdressing. I always recommend Havingtons to my friends and our guests.

Having no idea where to go to get a good hairdresser with the modern knowledge of today's art in hairdressing I looked on W0MO and came across Harvingtons so after 20 years of having my hair done at some of brisbane stylists and the the last 5 years at one particular stylist I put my trust in Michael with my fingers crossed because I wanted such Change to my hair which many so called stylist would not do because they did not know how to. Michael thought about my request and after some time said ok let's do this and this and we should get at least you 3/4 of the way you want and then the next time you go to a hairdressers ask for this....... And you should be where you want. So after much patients by both Micheal and myself my hair change from a very grey Rooted dark brown hair to a feathered blond with all brown gone and grey moulded into the blond colours he then told me what to ask for when travelling across qld to keep what I wanted how good is it to find Such a professional hairstylist with the knowledge of big City stylist here in Hervay Bay and don't forget to get a great and relaxing pedicure while you are there I could only give a 10 of of 10 for my experience there and walked away feeling how lucky I was to find Michael Harvington here in Scarness Hervay Bay so when you need an uplift give yourself a treat at
Harvingtons Scarness Esplanade but do make sure you park in the right area or like me you will have to put a net on end up walking down the esplanade in all your glory to move your car before being Fined

Walked into this fabulous little hair salon and Michael and Debbie were fantastic. Thank goodness I look like a real person again!! Highly recommend this place!

I was going to a ball on Saturday night I went to Havington's hair and beauty, Michael did my hair, Debbie did my make up and Lourdes did my nails. It was an amazing experience to get everything done in the one shop. I was make feel like a princess going to a ball wonderful experience.

While visiting relatives in Hervey Bay, I had my hair cut and styled at short notice. The proprietor was very friendly, courtious and an experienced hairdresser. I have baby fine hair and it is not the easiest to cut and style. But he did a wonderful job and my hair felt and looked great.

Debbie has been doing my hair for years. Its always a fun trip to the hairdresser, the colour and cut is always first rate and the prices are extremely reasonable. I would recommend Debbie and Havington's to anyone!
